I think its priced perfectly, I didnt even think about the salvage yard idea.
Finished car as seen at SEMA would run upwards of 100k. They offer right now 25k for the kit, that is no wheels, no tires, no mods, etc. Plus the donor car 20-25k. Do the math and you will see why it can't succeed and this business model cant work like that. With 100k plus you are entering into the used supercar world where this thing gets blown out of the water, not mentioning the warranty, etc.
I already have a c6 vette but fuck idk how I'm going to afford $30k

@@LuisMBuildz Methinks i'd build it for myself for cheaper, but i imagine i could give an estimate $30,000 to build it for someone.. Then whatever paint.. Sounds like a decent set revenue for a custom automotive shop 👍

Nice price for the car but it's a bit sad that you cannot build it yourself.
Think about it like this.. for under 30k you’re getting a properly factory installed kit by the guys that designed the car and you’ll have said car on the road much faster than if you had to figure it out on your own. And let’s be honest, there is still a lot to do after the body install.. you’ll still be claiming to be the builder ones it’s complete and rightfully so. Getting cars out faster and properly

Agreed. People argue they'll get it done faster, but that isn't the point. Some people like building things for themselves. I have my own garage and the tools to do a project like this, but they want to make sure that no one can simply buy one. It's not really a kit car at that point. It's just a custom corvette.
You would get so many subs if you actually bought one and showed the process of purchase and ownership life style
