11/10 - I absolutely love that piece! The Anthropology one was pretty, but y’all added actual character to that hutch. I was telling Zeb, through my phone, “Just grab some dark wax - it’ll be fine!” Lol
I love dark wax over black anyway. It makes it seem so much richer and more luxurious somehow. The store looks awesome, by the way. And the door being painted white looks great. 🙂

I prefer your version.
If you want the paint finish to last, you should always lightly sand the old finish before applying paint.
The clay based paint was on there we could hardly get it off with sand paper to distress it. It’s not like regular paint.

Can you use paint brush with the paint? I'm wanting paint a bathroom vanity.
Absolutely. We only spray because it’s so much faster. But we brush a lot. In the winter we exclusively brush furniture.
