Something about this scene just got me so hyped, almost to the point of surpassing Red Roc. It's not easy to do a good fight scene, but the animators in charge of this particular one really hit it out of the park.
@Chill nig*a sure he was definitely feeling exhaustion from holding off two yc’s but was he gasping for his life and lookin more damaged like in anime? Nah. Don’t forget anime also got rid of some the damage King& Queen had in chapter 1006

Go look at the panel he is huffing but he’s pretty calm when dealing with King/Queen. My point is the anime exaggerates a bit. By the end he was more worned out & exhausted then damaged, it never really shown Marco taking much damage at all actually. Just some scratches but that doesn’t mean much

Marco is definitely a yonko candidate.... Fought BB after marineford who is a lot stronger by having two df.... Fighting king and queen at the same time... Healing samurais who were infected... Fought BM... This is what we expected from 1st division commander of whitebeard pirates
People forgot that Marco was the right hand of whitebeard if i remember right , if anyone knows for sure make sure to point out if i'm wrong , but that's how i remember it marco was the first crewmate of the Whitebeard pirates aka the right hand.
Just to point something out. In the manga, Marco's kicks make King spit (or at least cough out) blood from his mouth despite King having his flame on. That's how much power Marco's kicks pack. They pack more of a punch than many of Zoro's attacks at that point.
That’s why even Big Mom refused to fight him because it will be a waste of time, the guy is immortal. You might be able to beat him but you won’t be able to kill him. This guy fought against Blackbeard and made it out alive without any scars (even Shanks got scars and heck look at Law conditions after being folded by BB)
Sengoku, Garp, Whitebeard couldn't go full force because even if they're old, they were powerful enough to sink that island. They're troops would've been killed too.
Ppl just argue king is stronger,doesn't matter lol. Marco maybe a little below him (which I personally dont think) but is way more cooler than most ppl on onigashima. Without him straw hats would have been literally wiped. Not to mention man comes out of every major fight with little or no damage at all. Suits the phrase phoenix never dies,but is reborn.
King isn't stronger than Marco at all. Marco is described as lacking a bit in term of offense, at least compared to the other Yonko Commanders, but he made King bleed while the latter had his flames up. And he did that with "only" Bluebird, which is just a ball of flame - not even using his trademark kicks. That's top-tier offensive power. Meanwhile we haven't seen anything that could really put a lasting dent into Marco (at least none he couldn't heal instantly). Now, King does arguably have more offensive power, but since Marco isn't just about high defense but about regeneration, that becomes an almost moot point. And given that between Marineford and Onigashima, Marco has given us some insane feats of durability, there's no way King is downing Marco faster than Marco can put down King. Marco is a beast, people need to stop sleeping on him. Respect the Phoenix.
You are comparing a fleet admiral level fighter vs a 2nd in command I mean if you really want to make a good comparison then it should be garp vs prime whiteboard or prime Roger or even prime rocks
