    Thanks for this great review. Very interesting take on it.

    BTW, I like the new intro, elegant and sober. Pretty good.
    Not really into headphones myself but interesting review.
    Thanks Guido

    Bought one blind for the Acoustic Energy Ae1 actives with a Pontus 2 dac .
    I'm very happy with the results.
    Great with the hifiman 500 and sennheiser 600 too.

    "Aaaaand here is the baby"....a few moments later..."Aaaaand here stands the baby" 😂
    Hahaha, love it Guido ❤
    Have the Clear too but MG, one all time favourite headphones of mine.
    You should do more headphones stuff beside your other and never never put something and class A 🔥
    By the way, burn in is real as real is cold electronics don't sound good *baaaam* 🐹

    What Do you think about using denon d9200, because the got 24ohm only.
    Is that possible anyway?

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! The Denons are easy to drive. No need for this power beast IMO.

      @@anadialog ok, but i really like it
      If so use it with 50ma and low gain would be enough right
      Thanks for your reply

    Hey, thanks for review. So if i have Singxer sa-1 allready, you don't recommend to sell it and get Aune ?

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, IMHO the Singxer is excellent no need UNLESS you need more power. For example with my planar magnetics by Hifiman I need to turn the volume at the maximum to power them with the Singxer, introducing some distortion. The Aune has more than 7 times the power of the Singxer.

      @@anadialog According to the specifications, it seems that the S17 is only slightly more powerful than the SA-1. Why do you say it's stronger by a whopping 7 times?

      @defu8592 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@adasdasad-xu7ilcant attest to sa-1 power, but i have Hifiman he1000 v2 and am only on 30-40 range out of 63 on the s17 on low gain. If that is anything to go off of lol

    Is there a headphone head dummy to burn In headphones possibly some kind of cd player inside the head dummy where all you need to do is put on the headphones on the dummy head and turn on some sound I know it sounds weird. Thanks

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You just need to put a player in loop with good frequency range for several hours. In the video Ibtalk about this plus there is my special recipe for download: th-cam.com/video/Tip6lGhEr6s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=D1KcSPpLtBqUmTlm

    Perhaps the shape is to discourage you from stacking other units on top of the s17 pro.

      It depends from the headphone type

  • @Creaper08

    Did you use high or low gain?

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As stated in the videoI tried both and according to the headphones it was positive or negative. High gain is necessary with power-hungry cans like my planar magnetic hifiman.

    Pretty nice looking headphone amp. Unfortunately, LCD screen + menu-driven = disposable 😐
    Ultimately all such microprocessor-controlled gear become unrepairable doorstops.
    That's the tradeoff for all of those cute features.

  • @WoodstockG54
    @WoodstockG54 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Only $700? That’s cheap. Real cheap, especially when it comes to competent audio gear. How much for that reel to reel, behind you. While I’m at it, how much for a good recording on tape?

    Weird commentary about price after 9:00 mark. This is not a very expensive amplifier. Why are you framing it like that?

    • @anadialog
      @anadialog  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I didn’t frame it like that. I said it is expensive overall but if you. Heck what it does it isn’t. Quite clear what is the message, the exact opposite of your conclusion. Just trying to put things in perspective. Plus expensive is extremely subjective and for most people out there €700 is a lot for a headphone amp.
