After 23 years living in Canada I am also living like new immigrants, buying simple and cheaper things for saving money, nothing wrong in that, definitely need to save money for financial management for our family

Buy anything. Just be aware of bedbugs which can come via used stuff especially clothes, mattress and furniture. Clothes should be immediately washed. Drying in the drier makes them safe.
They are a very bad menance in Canada and US. New immigrants don't know much about this. Please read a few articles.

In USA we have same store . Only thing I buy new are cloths . Kohls sell cheap cloths and you could return them too . Walmart you could return cloths too

Do check k&k liquidation and Auction center and make a vlog. Heard its good place.
U can get good new sofas from liquidation stores and they are not used..ikea has good prices too. Couches and etc I would not buy used..unless u can get it professionally cleaned ..people have pets and God knows what happened on the sofa 😦
