I'm pretty sure those glowing spots in the Fae tower are supposed to let you jump higher. Might be a bug or something? Using the favor was a nice workaround though!!
Yeah I’m not sure if they’re supposed to, or if it’s just showing the start and end of the progression you’re supposed to do. Still an early build so could be bugged :)
The glowing symbols in the towers will allow you to pick which one you want if you would take the time and see that you could get higher jumps from them for a fixed amount of time.
Try the Scythe on the bound. Thank you for the videos, I'm watching on the videos I can find to prep for the 20th. Also, you can shoot the crystals in the puzzle games.
Palworld is about genetic manipulations and npc abuse with guns. Hardly any survival. 99% finished game which will get new content. Enshrouded has rather polished/finished fixed world. Which you can destroy. Most survival of these 3. Many releases are less complete than this early. Nightingale survival is the general idea about finding lost home, some details. Like Palworld I probably wouldn't tag it with survival first. It's slightly less finished and/or uses random worlds so it can't be. Deep touch of old school fantasy in forever morphing Fae worlds with guns. Better than Starfield? :D
@@ADOS_DSGB I don't play Enshrouded. But of what I have seen on streams, it's surprisingly polished and well rounded. More so considering early access. Have to give them credit. Don't underestimate your opponent... although Nightingale is a different game. Not direct competition. It will have worse environment due to generated maps. Inevitable. Also can't dig. But the same time more diverse due to all the cards and stuff. And rather unusual story and design. I like the setup and will buy it. Also got Palworld on release. Happy. So my point - get all 3 of them if you like what they represent for the price of "AAAAAA" Starfield release.
I would argue Nightingale is more survival than enshrouded. Enshrouded is more action adventure with base building. Nightingale is more like a typical survival game with some twists.
@@CrypticFoxGaming well maybe none of them is. Don't Starve, Frostpunk, This War of Mine are. There's no real imminent threat in Nightingale besides boars and wolves. Real problems start only if you insist on them starting. So I would call Nightingale adventure as well. Even more so considering large amount of lore and slow speeches which you wouldn't be able to afford in survival. In the end though it doesn't really matter. Either you like it or you don't. Me personally looking forward to 20. February.
Is there much to do in this game ?. I'm just not seeing what would keep me interested. Crafting survival building games have been done to death, what does this game add ?. I know there is card created realms but will that really be interesting or once you have seen some, you have seen them all kind of thing.
It has a lot in common with other survival games. The twist being able to travel to new custom worlds that you modify with cards to increase difficulty, change resources, etc. There are also dungeons to run, etc. The game loop is mostly exploring to find better resources and plans, build additional crafting stations and augments (things that modify existing stations), and working through increasingly difficult dungeons and bosses. It'll be an early access release so TBD on additional development to add new worlds etc.
Mostly like other survival game, just that you don't have level and skills to upgrade, you gather and craft till max. I saw cannons on someone's video, so i suppose there will be some TD to do. Bit like 7DTD i suppose, but you don't have a fixed map, chances of opening the same map after you closed the portal is almost impossible.
As always, outstanding content Crytpic. You figured out how you're gonna juggle Nightingale, followed by Pacific Drive coming out 2d later? Any idea what time Nightingale drops on the 20th?
Not really lol. Just going to alternate playing them probably. I think it comes out at 10am MT on the 20th (12pm Eastern, 9am Pacific) but I’m not positive.
The cairn effectively sets your home point, regardless of what world you're in. With it you can teleport yourself home from anywhere, and identifies your home space.
@@CrypticFoxGaming There will be good engagement when it first comes out then it will drop off rapidly. People who play survival games have certain features in mind. This game is missing many of them. There just isn't enough 'new' toys here to keep them interested.
@@CrypticFoxGaming The main feature it's missing is an in depth character progression system. Running through a game that is solely equipment based creates homogenous characters defined solely by their gear. Once players reach a certain level, they are essentially the same. Speaking from a multiplayer prospective. There should be multiple layers of character progression. Not one. I don't want the game to fail. The setting, the idea behind it are amazing. I'm going to buy it. I'm going to play it. I already know I will probably get about 10 hours out of it before getting bored (and being abandoned by my gamer group out of boredom). There are other issues too but think they will be fixed during EA (like lack of melee weapons other then harvesting tools).
its a bad day when the bacon fights back - lol
Betrayed by breakfast! 🤣
3 more days of waiting ⏳
I hope he figures out he can use his slingshot on the puzzle pieces and does not have to be near them.

Guess you didn’t watch the whole video since that’s exactly what I did ;)
for a handsome man - i wish you'd always show ur face - adds a huge amount of interest to a video. IE: 1 of my favs is Spanj because he has s face..

Yeah someone else mentioned that you could shoot them too. Naturally never notices that on my own haha

Nightingale has guns, better weather & more diverse environments, water, Enshrouded doesn't, lol. Don't get me wrong Enshrouded is a really good game.

Nope not yet. Not till the release on the 20th

I think the combat looks good, not perfect but it doesn’t need to be.
could use some improvements but I like the feel of it for the most part. Not looking for it to be like dark souls or anything.
Dude shot at the activation pillars will activate them
