I'm moving from design work to programming just to have a wider skillset and this was honestly super motivating. Thanks for sharing dude

It's not unexpected that your application for a 100-job offer was rejected. Transitioning from a chemistry background to a bootcamp that claims to prepare you for a job doesn't quite align with the industry's expectations. It's essential to build a strong foundation in computer science before diving into projects. Starting with a roadmap that starts with fundamentals and progressing to advanced topics like data structures and object-oriented programming would be a more advisable approach.
Then you can move on to get experienced in a technology like react, at this point you will be able to land actual good jobs, good luck.

No dude, the amount of 'React devs' I have met that don't know a thing about data struct and algo. You don't need any of that for simple web dev jobs, nobody is going to ask a junior dev to do system design or app scaling, unless applying for FAANG or similar. Having good JS knowledge is enough to get into the field, you can do exactly like he does and slowly gain knowledge while working.

Ok, I must say that you are exceptional, learning to code for one year and then finding a job with that level of experience is astonishing to me at least. Can I get your github ?
