    Technique and videography are actually very clear. Not always the case with instructional videos. Thanks!

    Wow! It is amazing how much goes into making a beautiful glass piece. So many people do not appreciate glass & how it is created.

    Hollow implosions are my favorite to do. I like using borobars encased with other colors and then they make faded color petals

    so is this done like a compression flower? i tried this last night cause i haven't had much luck with compressions figured hollow might just be a bit easier. do you just melt it down to a gather after puttin your peddals then just go the compression method of heating and pressing then reheating?

    with the backing of, Raven Sky a combination of black and sky blue

    Thanks for the tips man. Also great music reminds me of early Incubus but the vocals are a little bit more metal

    • @LickMyGlass
      @LickMyGlass  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the thanks!
      The music was from a friend's band 'Potent Chokey'. Unfortunately he (the singer) passed away shortly after making the demo album. Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure they went to the same high school as Incubus in Calabasas, California. They were also about the same age. Not sure if they knew them or not, never asked. Although another friend that did know them still has their original demo they past out at school.
      Anyways, that's my tangent.
      If you liked this song, you can find the rest of their album on my old YT channel ' evnwood '.

      @@LickMyGlass thank you for giving me the chance to ask a question. I'm curious as to how you get the flower petals to extend to the outer ends of the pendant. I keep trying and trying and I feel like I'm doing something wrong and I'm not sure what that is.

    • @LickMyGlass
      @LickMyGlass  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shaggysglass6707 Have you been keeping the tube level while melting in the color?
      Are you using a tube or a rod?
      Have you tried lightly using a tungsten pick to form the tips of the pedals?

    • @shaggysglass6707
      @shaggysglass6707 ปีที่แล้ว

      @LickMyGlass I have been using tube and have done level for the most part as well as "elbow down" to try to pull it in further

    • @LickMyGlass
      @LickMyGlass  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shaggysglass6707 Have you had any luck yet? Have your elbow more level or up. The hottest part of the glass will be the outer clear, and it will move in the direction of gravity. If your elbow is down, then the clear will sink towards the tube. Rather, with elbow up, the clear will flow over the color.
