My favorite part of this book is how Manny isn’t mentioned in a single page in this book
Just read the book, I give it a 7.5/10, It's really funny, I love how Rodrick and His friends made an appearance and the plot twist as the end is INSANE. I dont like the fact that it's honestly a filler book, it will have no effect on any other future doawk books and will probably be forgotten
i agree i dont have a problem with filler but this book was so much filler to the point where i just didnt care while reading

It really should of been called “diary of Rodrick” because of how much Rodrick there is. It’s not even Greg telling the story anymore it’s just Greg being the narrator he’s only in some bits but that’s it it’s mostly Rodrick and his gang and basically the most part Greg was in was at the end so yeah okay I’m done bye :P

Greg was only really in it for about 1/4 of the book out of 217 pages, and I like how Rodrick gets a little more attention, but it makes Rodrick look like the main character instead of Greg. Also they missed the opportunity to try to turn Greg into an actual Loded Diper member and from the look of the cover, I was kind of excited for the book. And the only thing that Greg really does is go to a pizza place and does a performance at the end of the book. shouldn’t really have been a Wimpy Kid book, as it doesn’t bring nothing new to the story. Overall, I like some parts of it though
SML Archives I agree, not enough Greg and wish the ending was a bit more intense. It had no impact on the series either.

For Anyone Who Talks Like This Their Opinion Is Invalid
The whole time reading the book I was hoping for some twist or some lead to a new plot point for the next book(s) and it never came. I wish Jeff would go back to what he did with books 1-2, 4-5, 7-8, and 14-15. Two filler books that don't impact the series much (though being enjoyable) isn't that great. Imagine if greg started a hobby and then Jeff made a book out of that as the main theme. It would be way more creative than the stuff he's putting out now. I did enjoy the book though, that's just my rant. 8.5/10 could've been better.
I bought from Indigo and it's fine. I liked the part where Bill said they could make a comforter set

Read the full book. Its pretty good and funny. Out of the 17 books I rank it 8th place. A bit better than Big Shot & The Meltdown but falls short behind Old School.

I had interschool and I ran to the shops and bought the book after I came back to school. Well my mum gave me some cash since I'm 11. But still. It's a really great book

I wish there's a Barnes And Noble in my country, I can't find Long Haul , The Meltdown, The Getaway, The Wrecking Ball,
The Deep End, And the newer books. My country's Diary Of a Wimpy Kid books have translation that barely makes sense, and the one book is separated to two books so, have to buy two books to read one.
You can find free pdf’s online of Diary of a Wimpy kid to read if you can’t get to the real books
