Volcano erupts on La Réunion - lava fountains at Piton de la Fournaise

Our friend, volcano hunter and book author Patrick Barois was lucky to witness the start of the recent eruption of Piton de la Fournaise volcano on La Réunion Island (Indian Ocean, France) on 15 Sep 2018. This video shows lava fountains from a part of the new eruptive fissure.
