There’s a lot about Colossal’s character and personality that I appreciate, he’s someone I think of as a chill dude.I still have no idea how he was so chill and generally calm throughout this entire thing, no idea. The professionalism, the overall calm and generalized sense of control over the situation, even in the moments where Colossal seems frustrated or bewildered by the mess he’s been presented, he’s still so calm and that’s something I’m genuinely in awe of. There’s no way in hell I’d be able to stay even a fraction as calm as Colossal is acting in this situation, especially with the obvious question dodging and random things lion is presenting to try and throw the interview off. I would’ve thrown my hands into the air and cursed up a physical storm about 15 minutes in, kudos clown.

Props to Colossal for conducting the interview so well; he spoke to Lion like he was an equal being accused. In another world where he was speaking to an innocent man, this gives the innocent man the ability to defend himself and keeps things civil, but it also gave Lion the rope to hang himself with.

The professionalism, the overall calm and generalized sense of control over the situation, even in the moments where Colossal seems frustrated or bewildered by the mess he’s been presented, he’s still so calm and that’s something I’m genuinely in awe of.
There’s no way in hell I’d be able to stay even a fraction as calm as Colossal is acting in this situation, especially with the obvious question dodging and random things lion is presenting to try and throw the interview off. I would’ve thrown my hands into the air and cursed up a physical storm about 15 minutes in, kudos clown.

I think he had something of a convincing defense for describing the relationship as intimate in a vacuum - the word is often used among friends - but by very hesitantly answering whether the relationship was romantic, it immediately becomes clear that his entire plan was to answer indirectly and dodge questions in an attempt to gain sympathy. If his moral compass was right, he'd automatically deny the relationship was romantic. Colossal is right, Lion is a very smart man, but just like a robot, intelligence alone isn't enough to replicate humanity. Props to Colossal for conducting the interview so well; he spoke to Lion like he was an equal being accused. In another world where he was speaking to an innocent man, this gives the innocent man the ability to defend himself and keeps things civil, but it also gave Lion the rope to hang himself with.
