Good episode imo . Jon Cryer’s Lex just elevates every scene he is in so of course , he would elevate an episode centered around him in this rather average season of Supergirl so far. This episode reminded me of a similar episode last season which showed how Lex was the master manipulator behind almost everything which is true of the back half of this season aswell ( I certainly didn’t expect him to be behind the killing of Jeremiah). It was nice to get more additional context as to why he decided to work with Lena as well learn more details about his plan to destroy Leviathan , he will have Leviathan get rid of Supergirl and then he’ll get rid of Lieviathan thus killing two birds at the same time . While this episode showed how good of a manipulator this Lex is , I liked how it showed his one fatal flaw is his obsession with destroying the Kryptonians which will inevitably be his downfall .
The second season in a row with a "this is how Lex is responsible for almost everything" episode, and I loved them both. I can definitely buy this Lex as Supermans arch-enemy.

Great to see Lex spending 3 months plotting away with an end game from the first day in post Crisis world. His mother was right; if he he just stuck to his end goal rather than get distracted by Lena's condolence visit to Kara, he wouldn't get distracted by his previous vendetta. Very good episode.
This was the best episode of Supergirl I think, maybe, ever. It had everything i ever wanted a Lex Luthoer to have, it was so interesting and twist turning. I really really loved it.
I enjoyed another chess episode of Lex and all his moves on the board of Central City. Cryer continues to show why he was the best choice for the role. Damn Lena and Kara moments were tender and then heart breaking when turned on one another again. Oh damn Lex in Fortress! Where is Supes?
I'm probably one of the few who when they used Verdi's Dies Irae for Lex's dream sequence, I had flashbacks of the promo of Wrestlemania 14 between Undertaker and Kane XD "Kane, welcome to Hell! I will walk straight through the fires of hell to face you Kane!"
I think with the mouse thing Lex was trying to find out how the old lady's powers worked and how to reverse it?? That way he could see her and kill her...
For me this was a good episode compared with the others fillers episodes we had in 5B, my problem is not about this being Lex centric, love him performance everytime he's on screen, (without us noticing they did 3 centric episodes in a row Nia Alex and now Lex), is that they explained all the episodes after crisis in 40minutes, which proves that this season was a bag of potatoes chips, big, pretty presentation, but on the inside with 10% of chips and 90% of air, and a lazy writing because they repeat the same structure of his plans when we were introduced to Red Daughter last season. And explain everything that directly is so boring at least for me, and for such a good villain Lex is I think they should have found a better way to tell his side of things. We had so many filler things that this season would be perfectly to cover 16 episodes.
I'm starting to think that this season could end the same way Flash season 4 ended. Teschmacher takes a risk and goes to Supergirl knowing that Supergirl is powerful enough to save her mom and comes clean on how Lex manipulated her into killing Jeremiah. Supergirl stops the agents Lex hired and in return Eve tells Supergirl Lex's entire plan, which leads to him being stopped. Supergirl cuts a deal with Leviathan, leave the planet and I'll stop Luthor from killing you. Someone writes a news article which exposes Lex as the one who came up with the glitch that caused everyone to be stuck inside VR and in the end Lena turns on her brother again to be friends with Supergirl. Kara progresses on her journey to become more human by learning she has a capacity to forgive, knowing that Eve was manipulated by Lex. This is what causes Lena to turn to her side, as Lena didn't think that an alien was capable of showing humanity. Alex might not feel the same way which could lead to another dramatic thread going forward. Just like in Season 4 of the Flash, Devoe's wife turns on Devoe because his experiment leads to the part of his brain that causes him to feel love for his wife is overwritten by his increasing power to think, Lex's choice to turn down Eve will come back to bite him. Just as Devoe should have seen it coming and had a contingency in place in the event he loses his love for his wife and she turns on him, Lex should have seen it coming and could have at least pretended to love Eve so she wouldn't have ever turned on him.
What I didn't like was that everyone putting on VR lenses like putting their heads in the sand from the danger rather than actually getting to safety or doing anything else. What, the VR lenses were going to save them? Not even trying to find out what happened. Just annoyed me.
Also fun fact Chris Wood was in this episode! He was one of the people in a body bag. Melissa posted it on her Instagram story!!

Disappointed that neither of them spotted the cameo from Jason Mewes (from Jay and Silent Bob).
