i was forced to work on a mac on my job 3 years ago, second day on the job i went into a common perifferals closets and found a keyboard and a mouse that were probably from the 1990s, the mouse had a trackball... my god what an upgrade it was, both mouse and keyboard... 🤖

counter argument: nintendo switch. The switch lite significantly worsened my dad arthritis in less than a year. He only played BotW and Totk and by the time he finished Totk he had to get his hand xrayed bc he was in that much pain.

I have tendonitis and I literally had to buy a third party accessory just to have a good grip on the thing. I wish more companies would choose comfortability over design for people that have hand issues.

For some people this may be the mouse at their workplace or a mouse they were gifted/got for free so it’s not as costly to just upgrade it to make it usable.

I'm a student lab aide and the fine art building is a Mac only space. I've always been a PC person. Imagine my surprise when walk into the lab to see some of the mouses upside down and plugged in to charge. Who came up with this stupid design?!

If you're constantly using it while charging you're overdoing it, it only needs a few hours to last months
i haven’t charged my mouse in like 6 months and i use it almost daily, also it only takes about an hour and a half to charge so it’s not really a big deal that the port is underneath

The bottom charging port probably mostly just has to do with Apple trying to get people to buy a second one. Their business model has been to inconvenience people to buy more. E.g. Their macbooks missing all parts, etc.

@@CatsRobloxOther2nd because the Magic Mouse has gestures. That’s why the top is flat and clear of physical buttons. It’s a really great mouse - I’m in the minority but I really love it. The gestures are a must if you care about productivity.

I found a magic mouse case on Etsy which is basically both of these combined and it makes it sooo much more comfortable. Cheap too.
