@@richieheetebrij8189 Eastern wolves look very similar to coyotes, bit are much larger. It's one of the reasons they have banned coyote and wolf hunting in this area. They worry about mistaken identity. That being said many of the wolves are likely coyote wolf hybrids.
It's quite interesting that the Wisconsin Voyagers trail cam footage shows wolves that look a lot more like timber/grey wolves while Kilarney "wolves" look a lot more like coyotes.. yes, yes, I know they are supposed to be part of that genetic strain known as "Algonquin wolves" but why aren't more greys showing up? Kilarney is fairly far north... you'd think with all that delicious deer running about that the bigger greys would migrate further south.. And Wisconsin isn't further north - if anything Kilarney is probably further north.
@@Siwashable I think that it is mostly due to it being this packs territory. There are videos of grey wolves in this area (not on our channel unfortunately). Great observation!!!
@@Caliber-R Some maybe, but a couple had collars that have since fallen off. Those ones are confirmed eastern wolves by the researchers who collared them.
@@jerryellingson7349 We have been on the property for 2 yrs and have yet to see the full wolf pack. That is why the title is " did not expect that". That and all the grouse.
The garde pro gives a good picture and sound. Cant believe the amount of deer grunts.
