- Scott was on a hike when he was bitten by a rattlesnake. He made a full recovery after days in ICU. The family says it all goes back to prayer.

Of course my friend. I've been sick before , but I cannot say as in the condition your in. But I understand how an illness effect more then physically. Mentally your tired, emotionally your drain and you just want everything to be normal, and Jesus Christ can do that. He is the Prince of Peace and as Jhon 10:10 says "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it in abundance.” That Jesus Christ pours out that abundant life over you. The sole purpose of this life is to love God and love your neighbor as yourself.
True, if we love God we will obey His commandments.
Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us.
Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past,present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.
When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life.
Salvation is absolutely free recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God.
Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God.
Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.
The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone.
Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel.

Heavenly Father, we are seeking Your healing touch for my friend who is suffering from sickness. Lord, you are the ultimate source of miracles and divine intervention. Why doesn't god save everyone bitten by snakes ? This is pathetic !
If someone doesn't believe in him and/or doesn't ask then God won't answer. And sometimes it is that person's time to die. If God miraculously saved an atheist from a snake bite, then they would credit it to being lucky and God would not be glorified.
@@jesuslovesyou4400 I know of lots of people who are committed Christians who pray to God for help. I know a vicar and a pastor who's wives were also Christians and a part of the church. When the pastors wife was ill he told me he had a dream where Jesus came to him and said his wife was going to live. She died three weeks later.
The other vicars wife had breast cancer, they always prayed together for Gods help, the congregation also prayed for her , she also died.

It seems God requires a guaranteed pat on the back before he will help them. That is crass of a loving God.
It also seems God will forgive anything bad as long as you believe in him and repent, but he will not give a second chance to GOOD people who simply can't believe on faith alone ......they require more evidence.

You are not seperated from GOD when we take our last breath. so they died in the flesh but not in the spirit eternal life they live on. Holy spirit confirmed this to me. Repent means take your problems specially strong holds take them to GOD and he will help you i was delivered from smoking because of this. we will always be sinners and yes He is a just forgiving God we leave him he never leaves us.
