Start baking at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, lower your oven temperature to 225 degrees and bake for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes, turn the oven off...crack the oven door and let the cake cool completely in the oven. NEVER open the oven door when your cake is baking...u throw off the baking rhythm of the heat. Just trying to share knowledge and experience. Hope this helps somebody. 😎👍🏿👍🏿

@@donavyngibson1300 If you put 3 TABLESPOONS of flour (or cornstarch) in your sugar, your cake will NEVER crack. Try it and you'll see. I personally consider waterbaths a complete waste of time. Take it from a brother who has his own baking business. Now...get in there and BAKE THAT THANG !! 😊👍🏿👍🏿💎

I do 350 for 10 minutes then lower to 325 for 50 minutes. Plus I do the water bath. After the cheesecake comes out I go around the rim with a toothpick. Haven’t had a crack since I started doing this method. Sometimes I don’t even put the pan in the water. I’ll just put a pan of water on the bottom rack under the cheesecake. Same results. 👍🏽

HOW TO KEEP CHEESECAKE FROM CRACKING : The best, most effective way to eliminate the cracks in your cake is : ADD 3 TABLESPOONS OF CORNSTARCH to your batter. I bake for a living...and this step NEVER fails. I really enjoyed your video and decided to subscribe to your channel. EXCELLENT finished product, brother. 👍🏿💎💎💎💎

Cook it in a Water bath and when it's finished, let it cool down for about 15-20 min in the oven w the door open. The cool air mixing with the heat of the pie too quickly is apart of what makes cracking. But if it does still crack, wet a butter knife/spatula and gently go over the cracks and their gone like that ! 😊

It will help with the cracking if you create a moist environment in your oven by putting a pan of hot water in the oven underneath it before & while it's cooking. Then once it's cooked, turn off and crack the oven door until it cools (about an hour). Then chill in fridge for at least 4hrs and then enjoy! This comes from a few hundred eff ups btw, and then I finally got it right lol. 😂👍🏾

That's not condensed milk is evaporated. But I bet using condensed milk instead, would be really good. I'd also suggest brown sugar instead in the sweet potatoes. And I've only made it halfway through but I sure hope you put toasted pecans in there.

Use a "water bath". Before putting in the oven, cover the bottom of the springform pan with aluminum foil. Make sure that it's covered COMPLETELY, so that water cannot get into it. Then fill any roasting pan with water, up to about 1/3 height, set the filled cake pan in it, and bake at 325° F for 60-70 minutes. No cracks!! Promise.
