I really love how thes masters like Eric, Hansen, Haman, GingerGM and others are so humble when they blunder. They just keep going and not punish themselves and they even laugh at the situation. Its really inspiring
Eric, I've recently begun experiencing "mouse slips" and chessboard finickinesses on RHP, where I play correspondence chess. I've asked others if they've experienced this, and they said no. Turns out, my mouse is failing, dropping held pieces and double-clicking randomly. You might want to check on getting a fresh mouse. Edit/update: When not in use, mice can be kept fresh by putting them in the butter compartment of the refrigerator door. YES, I'M KIDDING! :)
@@iUUkk Or I could spend $7.99 for a new mouse and do a quick swap and fix things (which I have). :) I get what you're saying, but signal bounces can be very quick, and debouncing the signals won't fix the held-item (left button down) mouse drop issue.

I just blundered a rook in one of my games. Told my opponent it was a gambit.
@josepherhardt164 if it worked well enough for them to believe you, then it WAS a gambit
28:15 MASTERCLASS onwards
At one point 2 exchanges down
44:36 followed by this disasterclass🤭
damn that 2 exchanges down and then win game was nasty. Nice Eric!!
46:40: the noise a tiger makes before it kills me
hi gl eric from the past
And bad luck from the future!!! da-da-dummmm!!!!
We all have these days that you are not in your best form. But the Oh no my queen!-show must go on!
I'm close to 4 years like that tbf
" I was just worse the whole game until I wasn't worse"
That is me literally describing every chess game/ match I play. Lol
What a game vs Daskevich! I can’t believe you pulled that off, down 2 exchanges!!?

If you have this issue you could try and lower the poll rate of your mouse. I also think there's AHK scripts that try and fix this common issue.

Has the Spring Marathon video been posted somewhere? Love watching the marathon videos.
Not yet, but hopefully later this summer when I’m back in the U.S.
@@EricRosenExtra Thanks, Eric. Appreciate the response.
33:45 what a sick turn of events🎉🎉🎉❤
Two exchanges down was a rocknroll game
At 45:33 why not take the knight on g6?
Eric has a tendency to overlook the obvious.
This should be a Blitz tilted arena for Eric.. 😁😁

Insane queen sac
Stated goal is to raise his Blitz rating. Proceeds to play Stafford Gambit. 🤦♂
You act like its not a regular part of his repertoire, he can still win with the opening brother.
He probably has like a 75% win rate with the Stafford
I mean Eric is pretty ruthless with the Stafford, what is the problem brother
@@maliciousmayhem4507 The problem is that against higher level players (the people he needs to beat to raise his rating), it loses its effectiveness
Celebration tonight for 101 checkmates on my Speed Run 🎉🎉🎉
woah
losing streak in the losing tournament. not turnarounded
Alright time for bed. Zzz
Well obviously you can turn it around. That's how a rating system works.
