You misunderstood the swimming rules. In some areas no one is allowed to swim due to danger. Any where that men can swim, women can swim too as long as they are having their hijab on. There are, however, some private beaches for women where they can remove their hijab and wear swim suits including bikinis.
tosan1 ow! Thank you for pointing this out. We asked hotel reception and some people at the beach, but your reply makes indeed more sense. In our video coming one and a half weeks, we are in Rasht and Marlou actually will go in the water. Police does urge her to keep her hijab on at all times but indeed does not ask her to leave the water. Thanks again! Good to know!
You said cold isn’t a regular thing to see in iran... you clearly haven’t been to iran in the winter.

Sepehr Delshad we moved on, out of Iran and now in Montenegro. But we haven't edited all the videos of Iran yet so they will come online coming weeks. Including Rasht, Masuleh and the Alamut Valley!
