Like that ‘blooming flower’ word and I tried. A big change how I toss. But you seem change to right handed player at the end of video! Hmmm confusing…..but I will keep practicing. Thank you coach

Jeff, when the ball is being tossed, do you have a preference to whether the palm of the tossing hand is facing up or slightly angled? Also, after the ball is out of the hand, if the tossing palm is facing the net, rather than the side, is that a problem? Thx for what you do!
Hi Jeff....I didn't understand why the higher toss helps with topspin. Surely all that matters is brushing up on the ball at the contact point, so why does it matter if the ball is dropping at the contact point (higher toss), or it is at its peak at the contact point (lower toss).
Jeff, I'm confused. Wouldn't a lower toss allow you to swing more low to high on the ball hence more topspin? As the main thing is to have a contact point that is low enough, why would you need a higher toss for a topspin serve?
Thanks for your question Kara. To create topspin on your serve, you need to hit up and over the ball. Hence, your toss needs to be higher. If your toss is low, you will hardly be able to do it. @@TennisEvolution Hi Jeff, You make great Tennis serve videos. 1 How much we should bend forward Some players keep back straight while tossing. Some bend forward before tossing and then toss the ball. 2 Should player be keen about Pendulum motion for momentum for toss, which includes toss and weight transfer from front leg to back leg. Some player do not. Toes play role here as well. Having Pendulum motion may create a rush. If this is needed at all? 3 How should player transition from beginner to advanced serve. Recyclage d'anciennes vidéos, ça sent l'hiver ! 😇
Thanks for your comment. Old, but golden tips that can transform your serve at any point and in any season of the year.
Malheureusement on ne peut plus jouer depuis un moment chez nous... 😭

Jeff.
Should you do drill before practicing service for efficient service or should follow slow self discovery learning curve
Should back move upwards while tossing the ball
If you need to stand straight while tosing
If weight transfer important before toss ?
This video is just great. Thanks
You're welcome! Thank you for watching.

Hi Baint. I recommend having the tossing palm facing towards the side fence while having the off arm fully extended at the trophy pose.
How about kick serve toss place? Directly above head? Or above non domainted shoulder/or ear?
Hey Mike. I will suggest to practice tossing it on both places. Then, assess how much kick you create with each toss.
@@TennisEvolution thank you so much!

If toss should be accustomed to adjust shot or if shot should be adjusted as per toss
My toss never gets high enough so I do not get full extension. How to fix?
Need some slow motion vid on this video...
Thanks for the feedback Mike.

Think of the ball dropping the same as the raquet moving up. Does that help?
I prefer the low toss. It kinda forces me to accelerate the raquet more since there is not much time to waste before the ball drops.
That's great Matheus!
