Thank you dear lord for that wonderful soulful singing! May the lord bless you and keep you Joni! I had such a bad start today with Judy my child who has a diagnosis of Autism.
Lyrics: “Man of Sorrows!” what a name For the Son of God, who came Ruined sinners to reclaim. Hallelujah! What a Savior! Bearing shame and scoffing rude, In my place condemned He stood; Sealed my pardon with His blood. Hallelujah! What a Savior! Guilty, vile, and helpless we; Spotless Lamb of God was He; “Full atonement!” can it be? Hallelujah! What a Savior! Lifted up was He to die; “It is finished!” was His cry; Now in Heav’n exalted high. Hallelujah! What a Savior! When He comes, our glorious King, All His ransomed home to bring, Then anew His song we’ll sing: Hallelujah! What a Savior!
One of my very favorite hymns from the church I attended in my childhood and youth. Kidron Mennonite Church, Kidron, Ohio. When I hear this song it makes me long for the future when throngs of worshippers will sing praises and give glory to God in heaven.
Nancy, not sure if you'll see my comment, but I just got coffee last week with someone who grew up going to Kidron Mennonite Church!! I'll be at his wedding in Kidron this weekend.

If Joni made an album of her singing this hymn and others like it, I'd buy it.
Me too 😊
This really it is true adoration, honor and exaltation only for our savior. Halleluja!!!
