My father LOVED Kitchener. He said he had met him just b4 his transitioning in Miami airport. He said Kitchener had told him he was very ill, and shortly after that meeting he made his transition. Thanks for your contributions to our Caribbean culture Thee Grand Master Forever.
Kenneth Estrill my late father loved Kitchy and Sparrow. My earliest recollection was as a child in England in the 60's and every Saturday he blasting their music on his gramophone lol. Today, I can still say I love Kitchener's music and the beautiful legacy he left us Trinbagonians. I also love Sparrow who is a master of the double entendre. Thankful for TH-cam that we can easily access these gems and pass them on to the next generation. May the Lord Kitchener continue to make music in the heavenly realms.
Thank god for technology that enables us to continue to hear and see the Greats of the greats.= music that will never die. Music that can comfort the soul and ignore problems. I am Jamaican but I love calypso as much as ska and reggae
Kitch I have to go and sleep; yuh go keep me up till late.....I am enjoying this to the max. You kept West Indians in N.Y dancing all over the place. I had lots of fun dancing to this on the Parkway in my day....energy fuh days. Thanks for those innocent days of mine.
Boy when Kitchener came to St. Thomas Carnival with this song, he had the Flag woman in front of the truck that was moving him in the parade. Talk about Mas.

If the local acting fraternity decides to produce a movie of Lord Kitchener, Kernal is the ideal person. He is the splitting image of his dad.
