I am not proud to say that we do speak that way because I know that some blacks take it offensive and I understand because we are Mexican and should refrain from using certain words. But as it's always been all our homies from those areas excuse is that we can't help where we grew up and learned to speak that way since elementary and middle School giving that most of our friends who spoke English were black so we learned to speak it similar to them. I'm 35 years old and ever since I could remember juvenile Hall and county and even to the penitentiary we would get into it with homies from areas like east LA, sgv, sgv and all those areas with homies who didn't grow up around blacks because they would always look down upon us for that same reason that they always said why we talk black and shxt but we never gave a fxck cause we were always proud of our cities and neighborhoods no matter what so that always caused some tension between us homies and at time even fights and grimey politicking against each other. But now I do see a lot of those newer homies now from those same areas that looked down upon us for speaking that way , now there little homies all speak the same as us 😆. But I wouldn't say it's because of norteños it's the rap music as a whole all across the country because now you even have a lot more white girls and boys who act black aswell and what we gonna say that they wanna act like norteños 😂 nah I doubt it it's just simply because the way the whole Internet craze and how it reaches so far now so a lot of people wanna get hip to what seems Cool now.. it goes both ways too just like they had the central valley nortes like San jo Salinas and all those super norteños who spoke like cholos Chicanos wearing cortes and Pendleton's, and then the bay area ones that had that e40 Mac Dre style , well LA was similar in the sense that the east LA and others were super sureño cholos then you had those sections where we grew up around them so we had that swag.. with all that being said just cause one rapper peysoh said he got some influence from up north dont mean all down south Mexican rapper's wanna be or got influenced by norteños. With all that said I'm outros cmr.
