Anika you have the most perfectly long skinny neck to wear tight turtlenecks high on your neck they are the best thing you can have in your wardrobe because of your neck the tighter around your neck the better and high so they don't move all day with how much your Adam's Apple sticks out they will probably choke you some but that's good also
I totally resonate with what you said about holding onto clothes as a reminder of who you once were or someone you never will become. I’m convicted to go clean my closet now😅
Something I did after about a year of capsule wardrobing was to purge things I had not reached for through that time. This allowed me to have more space, hanging everything on nice hangers, and shopping from that point forward in a much more intentional way. I stopped shopping for fast fashion and began shopping for pieces I knew I’d reach for over a long period of time. Game changer! You’re doing great!🎉
I would love to see some of these favorite outfits of yours! I have been intentional about my closest for about 3 years now and really love having less and knowing that what I do have is something I love and fits me well.
I did a bunch of things to find my core style about 3 weeks ago, and then tried to re-arrange my 'capsule' to fit this. I didn't aim for project 333, but I actually ended up on 32 items. It is definitely easer to get dressed in the morning, and I love that the closet don't fees stuffed when you open it. For me, accessories and texture works wonders for making basic items work really well (I am mostly drawn to basics). I do think I need a bit more clothing, since I have to be able to go two weeks without doing laundry (the joys of not having your own laundry machine). But this is a great project, and I will definetely be watching your other videos on it. :)
Over the weekend I have my kids (under 12) choose five outfits and place them in a hanging sweater holder in their closet. It saves so much time in the morning before school to have five (or less) choices.
I had trouble finding 33 items per season when I tried Project 333. :) I didn't realise I'd already become so minimal! Restricting colour has helped: I mostly wear black, navy, grey and white, plus a few coloured tops. Other than stripes and polka dots, I pretty much avoid pattern except for scarves. I wear one style of trouser (pull-on, wide leg), one type of shoe (leather Oxford) and a wide range of tops in different weights and fabrics. I don't wear skirts, but have half a dozen loose dresses for summer, all navy or charcoal. I regularly do a navy dye bath too - usually when I've experimented with colour or pattern and quickly gotten bored with it.
I have that! I used the Dressing Your Truth system. Everything I own works with everything else. Mine's pretty casual. I use my short sleeve shirts with a long sleeve cuddlduds shirt under them in winter.
I enjoyed this video and yes, would like to see the items you chose! I’ll peruse your channel a bit more to see if I can find a video on your items. You might like the wonder wardrobe. Your takeaways reminded me of the wonder wardrobe system.
This came in perfect time! Going back to work after maternity leave, planning to do the capsule, but no idea how to plan it. To put it all in canva - such a brilliant idea! Definitely doing the same!
I only have 12 outfits.. at the end of the season I will get rid of them because I feel I probably won’t be “feeling them “ anyway.. I will start new every season.. 12 outfits is a perfect number.. the outfits are already on hangers.. no decision fatigue anymore!! So streamlined ❤️
Love this idea! You popped up in my feed and I’m happy you did cause I really recognize myself in a lot of the things you mentioned in your last couple of videos. Greetings from Sweden ✨😁
I'd love a video walking us through a tutorial of the canva outfit planning and then show us your planned outfit on canva ans then your actual outfit on you
I love to have a capsule wardrobe too and I'm working on it for some time. But I don't even find 33 pieces I love. And it's really hard for me to determine and find the pieces I'm thinking of...
I'm in my 40's and I work in an office where employees are allowed to wear jeans and a nice top. It doesn't bother me wearing a sweater one week and then wearing that same sweater the following week. Of course I wash my sweater. I don't have the money and closet space for lots and lots of clothing. I have a tiny closet, so I have to be minimal with my clothing and shoes. I like having less clothing, it's easier to pick an outfit, less for me to wash and my clothing is organized in my closet
So it seems that I live project 12 33 ;). I just went to count my closet. 34 items in total. Wait...36. I have a cocktail dress and jacket in storage that I bought for my 25th anniversary party, that I've worn once in the last 12 years. Hmmm. Maybe i should wear that dress more.
When I look at my wardrobe I would score those 33 pieces easily. Not because of being minimalistic but being frugal and spending the money on my kids and cats 😅
What you gotta have is some high tight turtlenecks to high light your long neck out your hair up and wear a skin tight turtleneck that doesn't move all day
filming my new capsule wardrobe walk-through today!! very excited to share with you soon!!

My goal is to have a all-year capsule wardrobe and only have pieces that match with each other and that i can layer and use in all seasons.
I have that! I used the Dressing Your Truth system. Everything I own works with everything else. Mine's pretty casual. I use my short sleeve shirts with a long sleeve cuddlduds shirt under them in winter.
Love this. Def resonate with old clothes representing old selves. Love your internal “alignment.”

I really enjoyed this video. I’ve wanted to try project 333 for a long time. I think this video just gave me the push to do it. Thank you!

Lovely video. Thanks so much hon ❤
I put whole outfits on one hanger when I do laundry. No thinking in the AM. I took inventory pictures so I can see all that I have.

When I look at my wardrobe I would score those 33 pieces easily. Not because of being minimalistic but being frugal and spending the money on my kids and cats 😅
…Ms. Green’s videos distract me with the technique of every sentence being a new edit ?
Sorry what about shoes? 33 pair of shoes? 😮
So, polyvore.. you mimicked polyvore 😅
Why is owning much a problem?
It take tons of time to maintain
You talk way too fast 😂
You can slow down the speed of the video
