Always appreciate the positive message in your videos. You're right; a lot of reviewers nowadays love to nitpick to the point where it gets a little ridiculous. I can understand griping about actual defects or errors, but your message of not forgetting that our toys are meant to be enjoyed is something that all us collectors can take to heart.
Airborne was one of the first 4 figures that started my GI Joe collection back in the early 80s along with BlowTorch, Ripcorde, and Recondo. Its awesome to see him redone in the Classified scale. I may have to pick him up. Great review 👏
The green goggles are meant to be the same as his other goggles with the cover on them for when they are stowed up on his helmet the N.O.D.S. 4 lens drop downs are his night vision.......love your photos....love the content....Ichigo forever....
THIs! The four-lens night vision are an upgrade to the older PVS-7B night vision of the 80’s… the new ones give more detail and the the extra lenses provide a wider field of view 🤓
What you said about the parachutes, made me think about how I wanted a actually parachute for the old school Crazy Legs figure and made one. Good review
Great review and more importantly thanks for the real talk. Life can hard and you never know what someone is dealing with. Finding simple joys like collecting can be that small win we all need. Now this is a proper Airborne! I love the little nuances and details. Yep...adding him to my collection. Never could find him when I was a kid so hopefully I won't suffer the same as an adult! 😄
I have been looking forward to the Airborne coming to the Classified line. First of all the figure well be going with my Haslab Dragonfly of course. The real reason he was my first G.I. Joe back in my childhood though the Action Force line here in the UK.
D me an my friend climbed up the top of a stadium an did that with r joes on parachutes. Also the best gi joe comic i have has airborn an spirit following snake eyes to a cabin in the woods an destro an firefly show up an try an kill snake eyes.
Hey great video, I'm just getting into these 6" Classifieds, let me ask you something. I liked your size comparisons, do you know of a Batman and or Luke Skywalker that scales well with the Classified line? I always thought Airborne was cool, I already have Spirit on the way. Any info is appreciated, thx
Don't sweat it over calling it a silencer or a surpressor. The original patent for the device called it a silencer, so both are correct. Either way, the toy is cool and that's all that matters
@@maddropnot on Franklin Talltrees file card. You’re looking at the wrong one. Also his backpack on the original figure had a bed roll and a shovel. It was the same as Dukes. Your google is wrong. Ask the creators. I have. It’s also on the books about the creation of the figure.
@@DAmazingnope. Wrong Airborne. This is Franklin Talltree. Primary airborne infantry and secondary airship gunner. File Name: Talltree, Franklin E. SN: RA030446233 Grade: E-5 (Sergeant) Birthplace: Navaho Reservation, Arizona Primary Specialty: Airborne Infantryman Secondary Specialty: Helicopter Gunship Gunner Airborne's parents are oil-rich Navahos who indulged their eldest son with sky-diving lessons. Talltree also studied law and passed the Arizona State Bar exams. Joined the army and opted for airborne training, commenting: "I'd rather jump out of airplanes than write legal briefs." Graduated top of class from Airborne School, Fort Benning. Qualified Expert: Hughes Helicopter Chain Gun, M-16, M-60 and M-1911A auto pistol. Airborne jokes around and gets loose, but he's serious too...dead serious. You look at him and sometimes he's looking right through you. Must be the Indian in him. The Navahos call it "the far-seeing look." Spooky
@@maddropno, you're wrong. His back pack doesn't have a parachute because that's not what he does. He's air assault, he doesn't jump out planes like in Band of Brothers. He repels from helicopters like the soldiers did on Blackhawk Down. It's even on his original card art, repelling from a chopper as opposed to Crazy legs or Ripcord who are in free fall or chute deployed because THEY are paratroopers! Google ain't that hard to use!

I share your thoughts. Nitpicking is taking away the fun of it, for that we already have real life. Let us enjoy our hobby.
Man, parachuting your toys with a friend has got to be a truly universal experience for children.

Thank you for your good vibes towards collecting action figures. Size comparisons are never enough so keep doing what you do, i appreciate it.

Was going say exactly this lol

Put him in a suit and he is Sterling Malory Archer from the cartoon Archer 😂
Thought I was the only one seeing it 😅

Been watching you for a while now. Rest in peace Ichigo. Keep up the good work man 😁👍
Great review as always.
I think this really captures the original while uograding it to a modern design and color palette.
Incredible content as always! Thank you for everything that you add to the collecting community.
Science and imagination which a lot of children now are missing out on with all this technology instead of toys. Great video.
Love your Joe reviews. Beautiful art!
I didn't preorder him but you've sold me one on this one D 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great review and photos. I always appreciate the photos. 🔥
This is going to be a hard figure for me to display, so many sweet looks between just goggles and helmeted... what to do!

He is dope. He will be the one in wave that is scarce.

Any time you come at me with a reference to issue 11 - I'm all in!

D Amazing
We had what is called IMAGINATION which the newer generation lack it’s internet or go home 😂
Drink your water guy
Airborne is not a skydiver. He is a helicopter gunner and an airborne infantry, not a paratrooper.
Went to school for and it’s his secondary. It’s stated in his file card and by Hama
Sorry but D is right, his backpack is wrong. At least google it.
