Yeah, they updated it a few months ago. Certainly looks pretty, but it's actually kinda hard to read without looking directly at it, due to the lower contrast compared to the old look
You can see the full loadout on the end screen. Basically, my current build revolves around maximizing Top Speed and minimizing Thrust, since that is by far the weakest stat in the game right now.
Wallace-RG. The main "weakness" of WRG is a low Thrust stat. However, since Thrust is a dead stat currently, that just means it has more of useful stats.
Honestly, with enough competitive and dedicated players I can definitely see this game becoming an Esport for many to watch and enjoy.

I'm honestly waiting for the day that this game sold more copies than Mario Kart 8 cuz maybe then that'll compel Nintendo to make a new F-Zero game.
Won't happen, but one can dream. The low sales of games like this actually compels Nintendo to not make a new F-Zero ;-;
