@norcalsurfer , what lens do you use to shoot this / what is your longest lens? Trying to figure out a good setup for shooting friends ocean beach… divided between Sony 100-400 / 200-600 (a beast but actually cheaper than the 100-400)
hey man sweet videos as always! was wondering if you had more footage from the wave at 3:36. Everything about it looks like a wave I got that day but cant tell with the hooded black wetsuit. Basically i was underneath a dude with a light blue paddilac who was too deep around 10:30 - 11ish. Cheers!
That definitely would have helped. This day didn't have the lowest low tide (the low was 3.4ft I think). When we get a lower tide with these conditions it will be a sight to see 👀
@@daviddromaine Nov-Feb, 1 day a Month, for 2-4 hours, you can have a Big Swell, Low Tide, Off Shore Breeze and a Sunny Day. Perfect Conditions for the local Surfers.
Thank you for watching! 🤙
Man, that water is WAY COLD... I lived in Santa Cruz County, just south from here
Ocean Beach is much scarier to me than Pipe. 🥶
must have been a long thanksgiving

I grew up close to here. Never witnessed wave action like this here! Wow! Time of year or storm?
Ya it was a nice sized and clean swell 😎

Looks like many tried to catch a wave but missed it. If they were on a Long Board, would they have caught the wave?

Put a Church on the right and it looks like Waimea Bay, North Shore Oahu Hawaii.
😂
Literally not true whatsoever
Not even close bay area brah!
The break in this is less than desirable, in my worthless opinion.

Wonder if the guy needing medical attenion was at 5:38? Looks like the lip got him.
How long did these conditions last for?
The wind stayed good all day, but the waves got slower as the tide came up
How about a round of applause for those lefts, ladies and gentlemen....
👏👏👏👏👏
Get yourself a 9ft. Pintail and get out there!
