this song, along with Act One, Scene One, F.C.P, Johnny Truant, Quarter Past, among others blow my mind because idk how Thomas writes such complex instrumentals while also having super catchy choruses and hooks. just otherworldly.

Is it a remaster? The album is from 2007 if im not mistaken, anyway im not complaining, song is dope as fuck.

Okay so this song is probably about tripping but the blue dress line has always thrown me off. What drug has something referred to as a blue dress? Or is the drug a person:P does make it more symbolic i suppose
Yeah, the whole song is basically about opioid addiction, more specifically to OxyCon. Thomas Erak (writer, singer and guitar player of the band) made a video like a year ago explaining most of the story behind this song and what it means to him and to the rest of the band.
The blue dress is the coating that's on oxycotten, it acts as a time release when taken orally. They scratch it off, to dissolve the pill into a liquid.. then shoot the moon. Hence mess me up tonight.
I know this was a year ago. But if you watch his play through video on his channel at the end he runs through the lyrics and what they mean. The blue dress reference is the blue coating on the pills.
Yeah I'm thinking he's talking about oxy 30s. That's the only blue I can think of.
