Remember that Tina taught Mick Jagger how to dance and control the stage. She terrified me in that lift when I saw her. It was a outdoor concert in the South during summertime. Very humid and she stepped outside the rail of that thing high up in the air and held on with one hand. Thrilled the audience. What a performer! Gave 110%.
She was 60 back then, but did the same thing again on her last tour at the age of 69. And she blew us away!
I saw her next to last tour and I was blown away! There will never be another like her. Ever! There are only a few that can come close to her iconic status.
She is truly amazing!
Imagine in 2021, I am STILL enjoying this!. So much energy Tina is!

What's interesting is this ends up not being her last concert. She did one more in 2008-9. In Barcolina an she was 69yrs old when she finished this last an final concert. At nearly 70yrs old. Who else can do this. Only Tina! Epic Doing it for 2hrs running across stage in high heels . Unbelievable.

I was a child and this was the first Tina tour I attended. This was supposed to be her last at 60 in 2000. She came back in 2008 and I saw her again. I’m glad I was able to see her twice.
And the old school legends don't lip sync. This is a different arrangement (as usual)--Tina wrote this song and had like 4 versions of it. One of my favorites. Yeah, she had the best sax player...forgot his name, but he's great.

That performance holds a special place in my heart, 180,000 people, the first time she filled a football stadium (her dream), 48 years old? Incredible, simply incredible. My mom lived to 89 .she passed suddenly 3 weeks after her birthday. She was having a great time in Vegas 1 week after her birthday. Hope yours has many more.
