- Welcome back to Seeing is Growing!
We apologise for the long break. The dreaded end-of-year grind, a bout of Omicron, and a Kgalagadi trip all got in the way of editing.
I have learned a lot about sound editing recently, so, particularly for those of you watching with headphones, this should be a more pleasant experience!
The next videos will be on the Kgalagadi, where we had some fantastic sightings, so keep a lookout for that coming soon.

Thank you! We wanted to this weekend but it was fully booked.
Thanks for the nice video. Next time you’re there, take a hike up past the chalets if its that hot. You’d never guess it but there is big, lovely swimming pool there.
Thank you for the lovely comment! We wish we knew at the time! It was sooooo hot! We could've used a swim on that day.
This is a great preserve, plenty of birds and wildlife. Nice vlogging 👍
Thank you for the kind comments!
Mystery bird: I would guess adult Brown Snake Eagle.

Hi! Thanks for sharing your travels. What time of year was this??
Hi we visited Nylsvley in October 2021, this was before the first rains so it was very dry as you can see! We will release a new video of Nylsvley after the rains this year soon!
