Why would you waste 3 bazooka rounds on infantry when you have a tank to kill? The guy with the stovepipe lays low until the Panzer presents a side or back shot, there is no frontal shot with a chance of success.
I don’t know what it is except it’s nonsense. German troops knew how to take cover and their tanks had a viewing cupola which had narrow vision slits or periscope at the Commander had good visibility. This is historically completely inaccurate.
I always wonder if this movie is based on the game of the same name or being a bit of a parody to it. After all "COH" had some decent campaign story-lines.
Sadly no. This movie is a non-canon depiction of the COH Franchise. It is loosely based off the game with the nod off to Joe Conti which they got the wrong actor for him. Joe Conti never fought in the battle of the bulge. He was sent home as a war veteran after closing the Falaise Pocket in France Normandy. After the events of chasing Schultz and his Tiger Gruppe AKA the Tiger Ace. He soon finished completing his mission by closing the Falaise pocket as a promise to Captain MacKay. Who was killed in Action by Schultz Tiger. The only problem with this movie is that Joe Conti Is a Lieutenant. He was basically nominated Captain after MacKay died. Anyway its sadly bad...
Oh, I must’ve been mistaken. I thought this was just a movie to be entertaining. I didn’t know it was meant to be a training film about what happens and what to do if you’re in a real combat situation lol
Well, kids, you’re good at picking out unusual details about the movie, but it just proves you don’t know war movies. There aren’t many working German WW 2 tanks in the world. Many movie companies use Russian or US tanks, modified or not, as stand-ins for German tanks. The bazooka used here is the 2.36 inch rocket launcher and no, you wouldn’t want to use it shooting at infantry in the open. It was only good for armor and hard targets like bunkers or walls. If they had shot at the tank wheels or tracks they might have immobilized the tank, but they would have needed to shoot it from behind to really damage the tank. Not sure what that sniper was using but it looked like a German G-43 semi-auto. Using blanks in it he would have to cock the bolt each time to fire as it had no blank firing attachment to operate the gas system. As for shooting head shots, yah, that wasn’t realistic. You shoot center of mass. In this case the sniper should have been looking for high value targets first and foremost- officers, radio operators, machine gunners, NCO leaders. And, remember, it’s only a movie, probably NOT written by a trained combat soldier and NOT produced or directed by a combat experienced soldier. It’s more just a story not really reflecting real life and real combat.
The sniper had at the start of the firefighter a great target. The tank driver had his main hatch open. Put a round in there and not only is the driver down , but the bullet may also damage some important wiring, that can disable the tank.
The germans did use repurposed T34s in small numbers, but AFAIK, not the 85 variant. That would have been late '44, so the chances they even captured any at all is slim and the chance they had opportunity to integrate it with their supply issues(Russian tanks used diesel, Germans used petrol/gasoline) would be even slimmer.
Box fed Garand, aka M-14, was issued until post-WWII; right side scope side-mount would've blocked ejection; left side charging handle....... Really?? So much wrong with just one weapon instrumental to the scene. I bailed out at 2:15.
The T-34 is probably the only affordable tank the production can come up with. But that's one hell of a botched up job it doesn't remotely resemble anything the Germans have.😅
They use T34sbecause They made so many And are still running out their. Only 1 running tiger 1 left #131 in a British museum. Most German tanks are destroyed.
That is why you can always build a replica and it is possible to do it convincingly. The Tiger tank in "Saving Private Ryan" Ramelle scene is actually a mock-up built on a T-34/85 chassis. It has some things that makes it stand out for a highly knowledgeable person about the topic, but an overwhelming majority of people did not spot a difference.
We had better looking “trainers” while at the national training center, ft Irwin, Ca. 1994. They took jeeps, and whatever other vehicles, modified them, to look like Russian vehicles. They actually did a great job!
So far away from reality...in a head to head combat with similar fire power US troops did not stand a chance against Germans. Germans are always depainted as not able to fight (they can't get cover and never hit) in US movies wereas they were the best soldiers of that time, it's pathetic.
They lost because they bit off more than they could chew. They didn’t have the resources to hold all of their occupied territory plus take on Russia, US and British forces at the same time. But, they were capable of defeating any singular country’s forces on their own turf at that time. The battles certainly didn’t play out like this one.
Well, of what you state is true how come they lost? And I understand there was a lot of political and shortages and everything that ended up but in head-to-head combat, the US did extremely well whenever there was an objective they took it most of the time. I wish that mydad were still here and he could set you right. He was there. He fought the Germans and he kicked their asses.
I wonder how on earth German can move a T34 and Su85 into Western Front battle, are they win Soviet already Even a tank about to battle with driver hatch open
c'est quoi cette grosse daube ou les soldats américains ont des Gewher 43 "sniper" et des Lee Enfield mk3 rien que sur les 5 premières minutes du film!
Truly a bad production. Never mind the funny look T-34 but the trite combat memes just lace this piece of shit. From the dozens of clumped up enemy deaths, to the blood splattering, and then there is the obligatory tank running over a fallen comrade shot. Definitely made for video game obsessed middle schoolers.
What a stupid film! Germans using T34/85s with the worst turret modifications ever seen. Looked like a cross between a Tiger and a Centurion. Why was the bazooka man shooting at the infantry? SU-85 not even disguised. If you can't do better than this, don't bother.
The most accurate part of this scene is how the tank can only be heard when the sniper looks at it through the scope.
That's the weirdest kind of hybrid tank mix I have ever seen..
That's the Tesla Cybertank.
When you don’t have the money to replicate a PzKw IV,a modified T34 will have to do!
It ain’t ‘Battleground’.
Why would you waste 3 bazooka rounds on infantry when you have a tank to kill? The guy with the stovepipe lays low until the Panzer presents a side or back shot, there is no frontal shot with a chance of success.
It may be this same reason, why they did jumped to the left, on the open, instead to the right - to the forest.
Yeah, and tactical infantry spacing doesn’t work so well for cinematic scene shots!
It’s just a movie nobody cares .
Those were regular panzers not tigers or Panthers. Side or rear shots were not required.
@waynemiller1670 I don't know.... It was T34 ;) ... And very not regular moreover ;))
Point man calls out "Take cover" and everyone goes left onto the barren snow in green uniforms while the forest is on their right! 😅
really stupid movie
And the Germans don't hit 💩, while the sniper scores one headshot after another... 😂
Is that a T-34-85 with ERA!?
Well doesn't surprise me with the inaccuracies of this movie
Yes, this was my first idea, too.
lovely vehicle. Hull definetely says T34. Not even putting on a late-war german camo pattern > very sloppy
I don’t know what it is except it’s nonsense. German troops knew how to take cover and their tanks had a viewing cupola which had narrow vision slits or periscope at the Commander had good visibility. This is historically completely inaccurate.
It's definitely some kind of T-34! Accurate only if you assume that it had been captured and 'nazified'!
The guy has to do everything, Sniper and also tank killer!
Thats a really nice authentic German T-34.
I always wonder if this movie is based on the game of the same name or being a bit of a parody to it. After all "COH" had some decent campaign story-lines.

Damn, so realistic 😆
Lol
Damn treators
😢😢😢😢
This is not a German tank, it is Russian T-34/85
Snipers usually dont do headshots if the possible targed could be the upper body.
That battle scene is as realistic as the German tank
Odd looking tank
It is Russian T-34/85
In reality the germans were able to take out 2-3 enemies for every fallen german soldier in general over all fronts.
Yet they lost on all fronts
Drivers hatch open 😂
film makers who don't do even the most basic research on what they are presenting. It's called recoilless for a reason.
The German army never had a tank that looked like that monstrosity. Lol
Glad they got the flag patches correct. But so much wrong with this scene.
The tank that used by Germany was T-34... 😂
The scope is mounted backwards.
And the rifle is a Swedish AG-42B, which is a semi- auto!
Just like call of duty
Where's the t34 panzerTank machine guns . Adding fire on targets.
Budget low...good imagination with actors...I liked it! Is this a movie? (just joking, I'm guessing it is)
Oh, I must’ve been mistaken. I thought this was just a movie to be entertaining. I didn’t know it was meant to be a training film about what happens and what to do if you’re in a real combat situation lol
Soviet T-34s and SU-85s. They didn't spend much trying to make them look like German tanks. 😂
There is someone/somewhere who does NOTHING but make fake Germsn tanks for movies, lol
Just watching this, makes me glad that I never wasted my time watching this whole movie! Wow! What a.bunch of crap!
Not to mention, they are using 1920 style Thompson’s. You can tell by the heat shrouding on the top side of the barrel.
Ahh yes the famous German tank T-34..
Well this was ridiculous.
Suspension of disbelief: not.
Way too many inaccuracies in this short video. That snipers kinda looked like an M14, would be in keeping with all the other errors!
Direct to video?
Why didn't they focus fire on the open driver's hatches?
The Germans did use captured T34s but this one has a few enhancements.😂
Please need suggestions how I can upload movies clip like yours on u tube channel
Please 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

I see why this movie has 2 stars on google. Why with a tank killing your men would you use your bazooka on the infantry and not the tank
T34 - 85 with German insignia 😂

@pcrem9953 thanks for the history lesson although I already knew all that lol . Have a wonderful day 😊
@@fromundacheez4949 you too!
Why is the "sniper" racking the bolt on a semi auto rifle after each shot?
They went to TEMU for an historical advisor..
Being a Gew43, it may even be historically accurate 😜
Driver’s hatch wide open driving at infantry at most a few hundred yards away? Totally ignored by the US infantry? LOL
Did they honestly act like a bazooka has recoil?
Box fed Garand, aka M-14, was issued until post-WWII; right side scope side-mount would've blocked ejection; left side charging handle....... Really?? So much wrong with just one weapon instrumental to the scene. I bailed out at 2:15.
It's a German Gewehr 43, not an M14. I have no idea if any US troops used captured ones or not.
The tank we see is I think supposed to be a tiger 1 but it’s a t-34-85
Hollywood reload on that tommy gun !!!
That is a soviet T 34 tank with modified turret.
Tank seems to be (originally) a T34...?
The T-34 is probably the only affordable tank the production can come up with. But that's one hell of a botched up job it doesn't remotely resemble anything the Germans have.😅
What in the world kind of bizarre make believe tank is that supposed to be?
Ein Durka Durka
0:40 LMAO what in the world is that abomination
1:19 if they're close enough for a Tommy Gun to be effective then the sniper is fk'd
They use T34sbecause They made so many

I guess that’s why the Germans lost huh….
It is the American lie in everything

@@dannybauman1313 Exactly, Hitler made the same exact mistake as Napoleon: trying to invade Russia, same causes lead to same consequences.

What kind of a lausy movie made in 2013?
Korea era chevrons on the NCOs, T-34 tanks. Sorry production and research.
What the hell kind of tank is that?
Yes the Germans were just walking down the road around turns no scout’s ahead were fired at and just continued to get slaughtered ok I believe that .
CGI explosions......can watch it.
I wonder how on earth German can move a T34 and Su85 into Western Front battle, are they win Soviet already
Even a tank about to battle with driver hatch open
WTF was that ????
The tank looks like a Russian T-34. Greg
this movie was terrible
Yes ... terrible bullshit😂
That armourer of that movie should be on the never hiring list. Just to much crap going on.
German's T-34
Por qué no ponen subtitulos ??
All Soviet era tanks mocked up
Why they used old russions tanks?
a typical low quality American movie😂😂
Tank made from plywood
Schwachsinn
crunching the infantryman in a panic made me cringe
If Amis was like this ... where hv all the death Amis come from. 😮😊.
But all Amis can conquer whole germany with one fart.😅
2nd ID. Second to none!
T-34 as the german tanks, so pathetic.
T34?
This scene was so stupid. Using the bazooka against foot soldiers.
Ridiculous
😂😂 o blindado estava de enfeite na batalha? 1hora para recarregar?
Kkkkkkkkk americanos... 🙄😒
Entertaining, but inaccurate.
And WTF russian SU 100 is there for what??? And T34/85 with LEGO armor is terrible
Rubbish tank, infantry looked nothing like 12th SS. Band of Brothers on a very small budget.
Estes filmes americanos são pra rir ou pra chorar? Talvez chorar de rir... eita filminho ruim so!
Why do we need bs music?
c'est quoi cette grosse daube ou les soldats américains ont des Gewher 43 "sniper" et des Lee Enfield mk3 rien que sur les 5 premières minutes du film!
c'est vraiment très très mauvais !
So ein Blödsinn.
baaaaahahahahaaaaa put some plywood on a T34 to make a 'German' tank. Crap.
What a bullshit.
