Every Radiohead Song From Lowest to Highest Rated

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 10 มี.ค. 2023
- On the internet, I shared a survey I created where a person can go through and rate every Radiohead song that exists on a 1-10 scale. I received hundreds of responses, and went through all the data averaging together the ratings for every song, and then put them into ascending order. The result is what I believe to be perhaps the most accurate ranking of every Radiohead song according to the fanbase’s opinions.
This video took a lot of work, and if you’re interested in more big videos like this, consider leaving a like on the video and letting me know in the comments you want more stuff like this. Thanks for watching as always!

The fact that people rated Blow out lower than 7 and it barely made it to top 90, tells us that most Radiohead fans never actually listened to Pablo Honey
fr, such a great song
They're not radiohead fans
Yep
Blow Out is a good song, and the first 3-4 songs of Pablo Honey are good, but the rest of the album is boring and generic. That's the main problem I've had with the album. The Bends is basically the same idea executed better
You're right, it's a really good song
“Climbing Up the Walls” is my personal favorite song not only of theirs, but in general.
Is it the only time they’ve ever screamed on a song?
i love that song
REAL!
@@SuperGangsteparanoid android has screams too in the ending guitar solo, but I don’t think any other Radiohead songs have a scream as raw as the one in CuTW
I could say the same about Idioteque ngl I almost have an unhealthy obsession with that song

I love how diverse your list is but to not have Paranoid Android ANYWHERE in the top 10? Man..
Ive got 6 of those on my top 10
finally someone who actually recognizes the tourist. its such a great song
You forgot Videotape!
The thing with them is that whenever I see a list like this, I can't agree or disagree, because all of these songs are amazing, if not perfect
I will never understand the hate for Pablo Honey
You and Creep are good but that’s about it. The rest of the album is boring.
@@hammermk4001 blow out is better than the entire album
@@zeal8111 blow out is way better than some ok computer and in rainbow songs.
It's not the fact that Pablo honey is a bad album it's just that it just doesn't feel like modern Radiohead. It just doesn't fit with their newer music like Ok Computer, Kid A, in rainbows
@@hammermk4001
Anyone can play guitar and Vegetable as well
Lift is VERY underrated. Somehow this was the first Radiohead song that made me cry. Not even No Surprises was able to do that.
i can never have an original experience
If you don't cry to True Love Waits then you're a robot
@@joshuagall7252 Beep bop boop
no one who has listened to true love waits hasnt cried when they heard it but for me I needed a few listens
I've cried to No Surprises and Fake Plastic Trees.
(Nice Dream) is that low? Wow, that's one of my favorites; weird to see it so low, especially with the wondrous lyrics.
no Nice Dream slander will be tolerated
“Wow I wonder why one of my favourite songs is ranked differently compared to someone else’s”
Did you see India Rubber!? Lol
Pulk/Pull is officially the most underrated Radiohead song. I love how weird and strange it is. The repetition of the same loop is not boring imo and the vocals are cool
I'm sorry, but its the most unenjoyable pretencious piece of music they've ever done, there are many other weird songs in its catalouge but they all have a beautiful and/or haunting overall sensation, Pulkpull is just sound spam
@@trehdohve6532 Revolving doors is the only track that managed to achieve entertaining sound-spam. It might have no worth, but it's a humble attempt nonetheless. A guilty-pleasure.
I so agree
considering Coke Babies is last on this list and the song slaps, I'd say it's that one but 🤷♂️

How To Disappear Completely and Paranoid Android being 2nd and 1st is so true. Paranoid Android is definitely the best song I've ever heard, followed by HTDC

Only makes sense to have htdc that high, that song is the song of my last two years of high school. Few songs trigger memories as clear or poignant or nostalgic as that one.
i remember listening to it the first time i was genuinely star struck how good it was, i will forever think htdc is the best song ever made
@@justinalbee5414 Ok now writing the comment it's my first time listening to it I will tell you
@@justinalbee5414 ok I will not rate it as one of the best of Radiohead
Not a Radiohead fan but a big fan of your good work, these videos are amazing. Keep it up
Coke Babies in last? That’s one of their best B-Sides and best songs during the Pablo Honey Era.
was baffled to see its’ placement. i love that song and the fuzzy guitar riffs/shoegaze vibe it has. plus thoms vocals, so good😮💨
One of their best b sides in general
“Best songs in the Pablo Honey era”, thats the problem: it’s the Pablo Honey era
right?? they also ranked ripcord and vegetable at the bottom? incredibly wack
@@londiebrondie the problem is you thinking pablo honey is bad just because other people say that
Didn’t realize this was an unpopular opinion but Thinking About You is one of my all time favourite songs. Albeit not the strongest vocal performance by Thom, it is still a simple and beautiful song. And I’ve fallen in love with it again as I’m introducing Radiohead to my partner and he’s claimed Pablo Honey to be his favourite album we’ve listened to. Herd mentality, really.
King of limbs is so fucking underrated. Far more listenable than Hail to the Thief and even the bends though the bends has some awesome tracks. Just give Magpie and Give up the ghost a few listens
Go to Sleep being so low on the list is criminal. Amount of disregarded Hail To The Thief tracks
HTTF is so underrated its full of great songs
Dude! The bends should receive more recognition, I mean, High and Dry and Fake Plastic Trees, Just, Street Spirit (Fade Out), My Iron Lung are great! But Man! Sulk!!!! Black Star, The Bends, (Nice Dream)… The Bends itself is for me a Masterpiece.
You forgot planet telex
YES!! It’s my favorite Radiohead song, I just love the vibe
Severely underrated by this list: These Are My Twisted Words, Bloom, The Gloaming, Scatterbrain, Permanent Daylight, In Limbo, I Want None of This
Also underrated: Ill Wind, Up on the Ladder, Dollars and Cents, Stop Whispering, Lurgee, Fog, Kinetic, Go to Sleep, I Promise, Sulk, Palo Alto, The Trickster, I Can't, Inside My Head, Where Bluebirds Fly, I Am Citizen Insane, Lewis (Mistreated)
High, yet still underrated: Airbag, Knives Out, Let Down, True Love Waits, Street Spirit, Climbing Up the Walls, Where I End and You Begin, Sail to the Moon, You and Whose Army?, Optimistic, I Might Be Wrong, Subterranean Homesick Alien
That's my two (dollars and) cents.

Amnesiac and hail to the thief are very underrated albums in general . I love dollars and cents a lot.
just getting into radiohead and Hail to the Thief was my first album i listened to by them(i found Scatterbrain from a show I watch and at that point I somehow hadn't even heard Creep), SEVERELY UNDERRATED imo, there are some actually amazing tracks on it and it's so slept on
THANK YOU I don’t understand why people don’t talk about Hail to the Thief more often, definitely in my top 3

Amnesiac is like the little brother of a famous celebrity and they only reason Amnesiac is recognized as a decent album is because of the masterpiece Kid A that came before it. That's the Amnesiac version, the original scored 50.
I got a question!! I now heard several times how they think Weird Fishes is their favourite Radiohead song of all time. Don't get me wrong, I love the song but can someone explain why people say Weird Fishes is THE song? What makes this song in particular so special?
I know Paranoid Android is definitely like the band's magnum opus and I myself adore this song. And yet I'm not sure if the general consensus is against what I'm about to say, but.... the best part of the song to me easily is the entire "rain down/that's it sir you're leaving" section

One of the weakest tracks on The Bends imo, most lacking in depth off the record. Understandable score.
@@lomstair7546 I disagree, simplicity must not always be condemned. For example is Black Sabath's "Paranoid" very complex? No, yet it is still commonly regarded as the best metal album ever. the songs mostly rely on a single riff, and yet those riffs (especially Electric Funeral for me) simply sound amazing. So is the case with High and Dry. It's a simple song, but it's perfectly melancholic and relatable.
@@arrow2593 Simple songs can be great songs of course (No Surprises has a super simple melody and straightforward structure), I just find High and Dry a little derivative.
@@lomstair7546 how so?
@@lomstair7546i strongly disagree, in fact i go so far as to say High & Dry’s lack of subtlety makes it one of my favorite songs in their entire discography. compared to most of their songs which have loose interpretive ends, High and Dry does not pull its punches, especially in the 3rd verse. Fake Plastic Trees is also simple and it doesn’t get as much jeers as H&D does. i will admit to having bias towards songs made in e-major but if it was in any other key i’d still have this opinion tbh.
