Okay, hear me out. Nickelodeon should give Netflix the recordings of the episodes that weren't made and then finishes them with the team that made Enter the Florpus.
As much as I love Zim and would love to see it return in more than just the movie, my one complaint about the movie was the new animation style. The lines were too smooth and the colors too bright. Heck, they made Gaz a little too girly. I loved her goth look from before. I definitely wish they would have tried a little harder to recreate the exact animation style from the show.
@@englishatheart I actually like the new look and new gaz. The artist who helped make the show had his drawing and animation style evolve over all this time. So the evolution made sense. Also I know this might sound rough but I actually didn't really like gaz all that mush in the original show. She just felt like a discount mandy. But in the movie they payed more attention to the other character traits she had. And this was a MOVIE. things would have to be on a bigger scale. So in my opinion the brighter coloring and the smoothness makes sense. And I would actually like to see zim look like this in the future.

my absolute favorite part of this whole episode is Zim’s interaction with Lard Nar. “It’s purple!” “I thought you’d like it.” like Lard specifically picked out parts that were Zim’s favorite color. idk i just think that’s really wholesome.
Based on Alexovich’s concept art, they may have worked together as scientists in the past. So they could have been close enough to know what eachother likes.

Anyone else notice that never _once_ does Zim indicate he wants to replace GIR? He only ever mentions getting a new sidekick, and at no point in the episode does he give any hint that he doesn't want GIR to continue to be his sidekick alongside his new one. I find the ways they subtly indicate his attatchment really adorable. I bet GIR's like a little brother to him, if Irkens had brothers.

Lol well the animation wouldn't have been finished in one day but that on the 18th they would have sent the episode off to animation where it'd be animated for 6-9 months until it's finished. But yeah, that's cool though! :)
It's interesting how nothing's animated or colored until the middle of the episode, but then again it is just Zim waving his arms while talking and then Mini Moose floats in, so then it may be that a lot of animated cartoons have the easier parts animated first, while everything else doesn't even have the art finalized yet.

The moment this starts I instantly know this is the real deal. I can just hear the audio commentary with Jhonen and the crew now, all of them goofing off and laughing. If you haven't watched the audio commentary for the series I highly recommend it. It's like NewGame+ for Zim. I actually have what must be a rare but of collector's artwork of a Nubs of Doom storyboard, so that's what brought me here.

Well, Jhonen Vasquez and Steve Ressel's cameos in the early episodes were not put in by either Steve or Jhonen, so after a while they were gone because JV thought them cameos were too distinctive of background people.
