    Most tractor videos never show towing anything but most have trailers often multiple. You gave me ideas on how to use that for leveling or lifting things. Thanks.

    You're right - it is a very useful 3-pt attachment. Nice video!

    Bought same bracket, also from Titan. Great value and offers all the functionality you describe. Mine holds 8 @ 70 lb JD suitcase weights without any issue (they sit on the cross tube, they don’t hang free like the 42 lb weights would, but I don’t see that as an issue). We also have a recovery winch mounted to a portable frame that is also a 2” hitch mount, so that plugs right in should a need arise... Great video, thanks for sharing.

      Thanks Brian! I think its a great add-on and sure beats trying to tow with my Polaris which is too low or to screw around with the leveling of my Wood-Mizer. Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated!

    I’ve got almost the same one except it it has loops next to the receiver for the safety chains. Mine is manufactured by heavy hitch.
    Nice video

      Thanks Brock! I've considered buying the bolt on boxes for chains... That said I usually only need chains when I use the skidding winch and it won't fit on the iMatch hitch

    Nice video great tune to get it started.
    I will have to bug my stepfather and see if we can build one of these.
    He has lots of metal laying around and it might be handy as he has a few 3 point hitch attachments.

    This is probably a good video IF I COULD HEAR YOU!! I have my speakers turned up as loud as they go and I still struggle to hear what you are saying. However, I have not problem hearing the introductory music. I do agree this attachment is great. It was actually the first thing I purchased with my tractor. And that was before I even knew alot of other third party options existed. The biggest benefit for me is not having to get off the tractor to precisely line up a tongue to hook up my wagon. That alone is worth the measly price this costs. While you may have said this in your video, I just could not hear you.

      Sorry for the challenging audio. There are sometimes two places to check for the audio, one on the TH-cam player and other on your computer. I apologize and have made it a priority to try normalize the audio with future videos since this one was released.

    Little more expensive, but a set of pallet forks for the front end loader beats anything for 'most useful' category. You can bring logs to the mill, move slabs, move lumber, move almost everything on pallets. I have the bucket that came with mine, but the forks are on 90% of the time on my tractor.

    • @HardyBrothersOutdoors
      @HardyBrothersOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely agree that forks are a high value attachment. Use mine all the time. Lol actually had to buy to receive another attachment that was shipped from Titan, my offset flail. Delivery was to the end of my long gravel driveway. When they replaced the first one it was 1/2 mile down my road because the driver was afraid to make the turn onto our little township road. Definitely use with the mill too. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      @@HardyBrothersOutdoors Similar road and trucking problem here. Now days, if it's coming motor freight, I specify "Terminal Pickup".......cheaper and easier. I drive to one of the local trucking terminals, they load it on my pickup, or 16' trailer if too big for the truck, and I haul it home and off load with my tractor forks.

  • @chex313

    I have to go with forks as my low cost attachment...If I tow something I use my Jeep GC.

    • @HardyBrothersOutdoors
      @HardyBrothersOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Right on... i'd say forks were #2 on the list, for me, and agree they are a must have! We tow all over the property and through the woods so no chance on our 4wd vehicles... they'd be a mess and scratched up like crazy... Thanks for watching and commenting!

    My husband got one for his 1025r from amazon doesn’t have the bar for the suitcase weights just the 2in receiver and works great for moving the trailer around was only around $70 or $80 the only issue with it is the paint they used sucks like really really sucks!

    IIMO: ahould vw pulling from the draw bar, not from the 3 point hitch

    • @HardyBrothersOutdoors
      @HardyBrothersOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Curious why you think that? Not arguing just interested to understand. Honestly I couldn’t tow anything from that tractor drawbar due to how low it is. My sawmill would likely have things hitting the ground, especially with all the hills. Thanks for watching and commenting, appreciate it.

    • @profdave2861
      @profdave2861 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There’s no problem whatsoever pulling trailers etc with the 3 point hitch. They’re designed for pulling/lifting - that was the original purposed of a 3 pt hitch when they were designed for pulling farm implements, most of which were/are ground-engaging such as plows and harrows, and as such require substantial pulling force.
      The only area where you get into problems with using a 3 point hitch with trailers is if you try to exert too much compression or bending loads - i.e. pushing backward or sideways. For typical trailer use, backing up and doing some reasonable side-loading for say backing a trailer on an angle, is just fine, but don’t overdo it.
      The usage shown in the video was perfectly fine and you could do the same thing indefinitely without any risk of harm to the 3 pt.
      Great video, by the way, but even my pucker factor lit up when you slid on that hill!!

    • @HardyBrothersOutdoors
      @HardyBrothersOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the input, very helpful. Yeh, when that thing slide I was definitely not loving it.
      The hills here add a significant amount of variability with the tractors... ROPS and seatbelts are not optional here. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      Thanks for the feedback Bob... We tried it once with me singing but trust me the music is better... :-) Still trying to learn the balance of what folks will watch and for how long without some sort of engagement... I noticed the music volume being a little louder than the voice... usually catch those. Regardless, you feedback is appreciated! - Josh
