The Route - (We travelled from Pune to Bhandardara)
From Pune: The journey from Pune typically involves taking NH 60 towards Nashik. You will pass through Sangamner and Akole before reaching Bhandardara.
From Mumbai: The most common route to Bhandardara from Mumbai is via NH 160 (Mumbai-Nashik highway). You’ll pass through towns like Igatpuri and Ghoti, which are ideal for a quick pit stop. The journey takes around 4 to 5 hours, depending on traffic.
Both routes offer mesmerizing views of the countryside, especially during the monsoon season when the landscape comes alive with vibrant shades of green.
