I love the complexity of your grain bill on this porter. I paid close attention to your yeast recommendations. I am considering brewing this using the white labs S.F. California common yeast, because i have an abundance of slurry on hand. Whats your opinion on using this yeast?
R&D brewer Brad says: "That is a good choice for yeast, especially if you keep it cool at 64F. Just be sure to pitch a lot of it to avoid a possible underpitch." Hope this helps!

We have a lot of fun making them. Of course, who wouldn't have fun brewing and then talking about it. Cheers!
"Ravens Roost" Baltic Porter by Parkway brewing here in Virginia is delicious. By far the best Porter I've had.

Duly noted!
One of my favorite styles!
