Renee, I must tell you that I have enjoyed watching your videos and getting to know you and your family. I think I can say that I think you would miss your business if you sold it. Have you thought about finding a manager or a partner to run the business and remaining the owner or co-owner? That way that person could run it and you could come and go as you pleased. I'm sure you enjoy it the majority of the time but get tired of being the sole person all the time. Thank you for sharing.
My question for the next q&a: How was it dating as a single mom? Did priorities change? Was it easier finding some who wanted to be a dad because they knew you already had a kid? Was it scarier getting married the second time? (Only if you feel like answering, if it’s too personal just ignore.)
Thank you for keeping religion, politics and money out of this. Too many people use those three topics to gang up on others and continue the “us vs them” narrative into infinity. Good to have a safe space like your channel.
I've also noticed Renee won't leave mean or incendiary posts in the comments, she removes them. One woman named Inge clearly wanted to provoke---and about something really stupid, as these troublemakers always do. The comment was deleted presumably by Renee, and if so, I commend her for not permitting any ugliness to infiltrate her comments section. I only wish more uploaders would exercise the same diligence.
What I learned from this video is that you realize when something isn't working for you and then you change it and move on. That is such a good quality to have. It sounds easy to do but it isn't always. I admire you for that.

What a great video Renee. I have always applauded your honesty and today video once you tackled all of our questions. The one shocker is you are selling your beloved Craving The Curls shop ... I did not see that coming, but I totally understand how demanding that must be. I am pretty sure you will be busy getting into a new venture and wish you well whatever that might be. Whenever you put out a video, I feel like I am sitting with a friend who I have come to know & love you, your lovely family, your doggies and it is such a joy to visit with. You have shared your great moments, some health scares, celebrations, holidays & vacations and we love it all💖

I love your decide to be happy comment. My amazing Dad passed at the age of 95 ,6 years ago. I always remember he use to say "somebody has to be happy... and you have to decide its you!" I am now 72, and I honestly can say... my dad was the most positive, happy person I have ever met in my life! Whenever life gets tough, I still think.. how would Daddy handle this. What a great gift he left me.

Loved finding out more about you and your life that you haven't touched on before. When you said you were selling, was my face 😯. Literally. I must say I kind of saw it coming because a few videos back you were having to work 4 days straight at the shop and you looked so tired and out of energy. So the thought went thru my mind. Guess we won't get there before you sell to meet you. Last year we were so busy and this year the gas $$. I was shooting for 2023. But I still would like to visit Paducah as it's such a nice looking place.

Hi Jan! After my ice cream shop is sold.....I'm going to take a long deep breath and relax for a while. I want a normal life...go out to dinner on a Saturday night, take weekend trips if I want to, not work 7 days a week, and just enjoy being with my husband for a while (of course on the beach 🏖)

@@WelcomeToMyCurls I was betting on you spending even more time on your Amazon videos, etc, but I think you may be able to more easily integrate them into your "new lifestyle" than all of the physical work that running an ice cream shop entails. I only hope that the "infomercial/influencer" videos stay seperate from your main channel. (Except for the products that YOU purchase, use, and decide to share with us). I hope you are able to sell the shop in a timely manner and are not constantly "on call" by the new owner(s) the same way that your were with your franchise. 🥰🥰🥰 (BTW- once you sell, will the new owner have franchise rights?)

Renee, I just love your videos. ♥♥♥♥♥ I came across your channel a couple of months ago in my search for curly hair styles. Because of you and your documented journey of going gray, I too have decided to stop coloring my hair. I’m in my early 40’s and started to color my hair a couple of years ago when the grays started coming in like crazy. But, I really did not like how the hair color was drying out my hair. Anyway, thanks a million for sharing your journey while you transitioned to natural gray hair. You look FABULOUS girl!!🤩 I’m letting my gray hair come in, (they are mostly in the crown area of my head, so I can still try to conceal them lol)😀 we’ll see how it goes. Wish me LUCK 😍♥♥♥♥

Well that was the most in-debth "Ask Me Anything" vid and I loved it! Thank you for sharing your life with us. It just makes it more fun. So glad you are going to downsize the stress level by selling the shop. I will be praying for the perfect fit for a new owner or owners. I love your shop and wished I lived closer. That would be the go-to ice cream shop for me and hubby. I think there is a rolled ice cream shop in Reno Nev. about a 2 hr. drive for us. We'll get there some day. Thank you Renee for all you do. God bless them… but im right now in situation that i have to choose my beautiful Tiger or me… so i choose him obivisly… i wish i have a help for him as you do! Please help me… actually my gorgest Tiger! He is my soul mate… so crazy to say but until you meet him forgot anything you know about cats! He is small pardon, dog-cat beautiful! I have a lot problemes with my Health…..but he is the one who help me when i have panic attack or even heart attack… that was my fourth and i belve last …he is just there with me, licking my face or hands!

Hey Renee, Surprised you're selling you're the shop but not surprised. I didn't know how you were running the shop (making all those hot chocolate bombs) and doing all these TH-cam videos (producing and editing yourself). It seemed you had to be super human to do all that. I guess you'll be focusing on TH-cam from now on. You seem to enjoy it and you're good at it so keep the videos coming.

Thank you for not talking about religion and politics ! It is so nice to have a safe place where I dont have to worry about that. I hear enough of it from the news , Facebook, and people in my life even those which I agree with sometimes it just makes me weary ! I like to watch youtube videos during my downtimes .....often if someone starts talking about a hot politic topic I will just click off even if I agree with them.

Thank you for sharing, great vlog, I’m glad that you mentioned about the vaccine that may have caused your husband’s Heart Attack, my husband was fully vaccinated, and still came down with The virus 6 months to the day after his booster vaccine , my husband had a massive heart attack, out of our state, he was in Pittsburg, wind up there at the university of Pittsburgh Medical Center, I had to drive in with my son, they stabilized him and after one week of having the heart attack, he had to have Triple Bypass. My husband is doing well now and is also on medication for the rest of his life. Love your channel.
I appreciate you giving a shout-out to your accounting/finance mentor Jackie. It's a blessing to have someone who's willing to share their knowledge and experience with you, and will take the time to show you the ropes. It's kind of sad that you're giving up the shop, but I get it -- you seem to be a person with very high standards, and I think even if you hired a crackerjack manager to handle the day-to-day, you probably wouldn't be able to resist getting involved. My question: Will you allow the new owner to keep the name? Personally, I'd insist on a name change as a condition of the sale; I'd be worried about experiencing "guilt by association" if the new owner lets things slip.

The audience roared with laughter cuz my q wasn’t about food; I wanted to know the designer of the floral fabric on her sofa. I love that you don’t talk about politics and religion. Well, I certainly learned some things today: I had no clue whatsoever or would have ever thought that you and Randy were each previously married. Though, I was sorry to hear Kendall's biological father decided after getting married and becoming a dad that he wanted out of both roles. I too found out my then husband didn't want to be a committed partner either....we had no children but it was still devastating. But for you everything worked out beautifully---recconecting with Randy, he accepting Kendall as his own and you two having Brecken together. What a story ! The unexpected twists and turns life gives us are something, aren't they ? But now I'm curious how your girls' names were chosen. What's the origin of each ?

I have retired and move out to Ohio , from New Jersey in 2020 because of COVID my son and his family live out here , in 2021 I got a, a-fib heart condition I had to get an ablation , on blood thinners and blood pressure pills too ,I don’t want to be oh me , poor me. But I feel lost and lonely .if you or anyone could get me ideas 💡 I just joined the YMCA to ride a bike , I want to check out the senior center but haven’t gotten there yet , thank you I love your Channel ♥️👍♥️🙏

Maureen I'm a senior also. I'm recovering from colorectal cancer stage3. I'm in chronic pain but I'm happy and pretty active. I have an adult precious daughter and two precious furbabies. I'm spiritual and try 2 see good in all. I go 2 a senior center for a 12step program. You reach out 2 others and your happier. I go through times of depression and anxiety but l pull myself up. All the best 2 you and your loved ones.

That was awesome. I'm really happy for you Renée and your decision to sell. I think your timing is perfect. They say "A lady always knows when it's time to leave. ~ Fried green tomatoes" and you are a lady with a capital L. I was forced into an early retirement because of a spine injury that left me disabled. I hated leaving my chosen profession (x-ray) because I loved it. But seeing how healthcare's face continues the change for the worse makes me extremely happy to no longer be a part of it. You can walk away happy, light and with peace. I love this for you. I love my life now...I'm no longer a slave to an alarm clock and I get to choose what I want to do and where I want to go. Freedom to live and freedom to choose are all good and awesome things. Congrats!

I'm just beginning intermittent fasting and I'm a fan of yours since tripping on your posts a couple weeks ago .
My fiancé is noticing he's gained a few pounds and ge wants to start intermittent fasting like I'm doing . This is starting to stress me a bit because I eat like a bird anyway. However, I'm afraid he won't get enough food to keep him healthy and he's a small-framed man and only 5'4" .
If one looses all the weight , where's the stopping point to maintain and HOW fo you maintain KEEPING the weight OFF? Or..... is fasting you do for the rest of your life ?
Also, I recently was checking nutrition labels in my fridge . Our mayonnaise does not list sugar under the nutrition list . However, it says in the ingredients list, showing sugar IS one of the ingredients! So what is that all about ? I thought EVERYTHING had to be listed in the ingredients 💁♀️

I am right there with you. Forgiveness and acceptance just about covers all relationships. Yes, I believe in God, treating others with kindness,but, debating the denominations doesn’t interest me. My faith is a big part of me and I hope people will always see that in the way I live. I look forward in watching where your life takes you next. Maybe a podcast or writing a book. What an opportunity for someone who is healthy and energetic to purchase your ice cream shop. And to have you show them the ropes so they can carry on your successful tradition and name (if they choose). Renee's accent is one of numerous regional accents. Hers is a mid South drawl which is different from the ones in the Deep South, Appalachia, Texas/Oklahoma, Ozarks and south Louisiana. And that's just one section of the lower 48 states !
