I painted this today but in the foreground to the left I added a large wide tree with stairs and a door to look like a fairy home, I added mushrooms and flowers around the tree and made a small footbridge across the stream😊

Bob Ross is the person who made people experience ASMR for the first time lol. 90s ASMR tingles were the best :P
To be honest, it's better than those ASMR vids, most of them are creepy and weird
RandomCrits iFunny A lot of them are done for mostly male audiences, and they know that. Some of the channels are decent, but a lot are just a way for a quick buck from horny males with insecurities.
Man the way he manipulates perspective is spectacular, he just creates depth and beauty wherever he pleases.

All of his paintings are amazing but this one... While he was putting the greenery in toward the top of the painting, for a moment it looked as if the purple leaves were actually *waving in the breeze!* I did a triple take, like something out of a _Hanna-Barbera_ cartoon!
Must have been a combination of my own sleepiness at the time and his profoundly hypnotic voice that had me drifting off into dreamland...

I've been watching Bob since I was a little kid in the 80's and always said I would start painting because of him. Took me until Covid-19 had everyone locked down to finally do it. Bought all the Bob Ross oil paints and brushes and have had the pleasure of private lessons from him via TH-cam about twice a week ever since. One of the best decisions I've ever made. Two things that Bob said that have stuck with me since I was a little girl:
"The secret to doing anything is believing that you can do it. Anything that you believe you can do strong enough, you can do. Anything. As long as you believe"...and..."I think there’s an artist hidden at the bottom of every single one of us."
Now, go get that 2 inch brush and be the artist Bob knows we are deep inside 🎨🖌️🖼️

I love Bob Ross! I wish I had found him and started trying to paint when I was young. I always thought you had to have some special talent. I’m sure it helps, but at 75 I’m loving every minute of my time with Bob and I’m doing ok (not too bad)!

I sometimes imagine some of the painting being parts of planets from Star Wars, Star Trek and the like. Can easily imagine some adventures there! That said, a lot of his forest paintings have that Endor vibe.

How did Bob leave that lighter area on the canvas at the beginning of the video..Did he not paint it with black gesso or did he paint over it with white to create that impression of the waterfall. He has done that in other videos too..I was confused about how to prepare my canvas for this painting?
