The first episode of S9 was definitely a Marta Kauffman trope because it carried over to Grace and Frankie, where one character is in the hospital as a patient, and the entire main cast is just lounging around or roaming the halls of the hospital like it's a social club. In this case, if mother and baby are doing well, baby's in the nursery and mother is asleep... why the hell are FOUR of her friends just lollygagging around the hospital?

I love all Emma/Ross/Rachel scenes and episodes in season 9, those are great but that's all. Despite these lovely scenes, season 9 is the worst season of the show, no doubt.
Chandler struggling with his job and Phoebe beginning her relationship with Mike were pretty interesting. Season 7 didn't have a single storyline that lasted more than 1 episode apart from Monica and Chandler being engaged
@gerdtt79 nope, season 7 has way funnier storylines: Holiday Armadillo, the one with Ross&Joey's nap, the one with Rachel's book and Ross being a masseur, the one with cheesecakes, the one where they are up all night, the one with bagpipes, the one with Joey's award. Season 7 wasn't the greatest but still way funnier and better than season 9.
There's no need to be rude.
Half those episodes bored me anyway

joey did! he found the ring on accident it fell out of the jacket pocket or something if i remember right & when rachel woke up she seen joey picking up the ring, on one knee & thought he was proposing & since at the time joey & rachel had the on & off thing, Rachel said yes. & then at the end it all gets sorted out 😂
