Hi Friends, today in this video you can see How to Repot, Propagate and Care Asparagus Fern
Asparagus setaceus, commonly known as common asparagus fern, asparagus grass, lace fern, climbing asparagus, or ferny asparagus
Despite its common name, the plant is not a true fern, but has leaves that resemble one
Asparagus ferns are fast growers, and you may want to trim yours to keep it tidy
Asparagus fern's “leaves” are actually tiny branchlets called cladophylls that are flat and look like leaves
Plant asparagus ferns in pots or containers in loose, well-drained potting soil with equal mixture of soil, sand, compost and cocopeat
Keep asparagus fern well-watered to prevent the soil from completely drying out
Do not overwater, this can cause root problems
asparagus fern develops from tuberous roots that grow just below the surface of the soil, so cuttings taken from the plant will not root.
Two main methods of propagating Asparagus fern are:
By using the seeds and by dividing the plant
