    I have a 05 LLbean 3.0R that has been garaged for its entire life. No rust 150,000 miles. Runs like new. Have replaced the hubs, suspension bushings, struts, driveshaft, etc in order to keep it riding like new. Would love to do this to my ride. What do you think of the 1 inch lift?
    Thanks

    Brother how u linking the outback ..im looking into outback v6 with auto transmission.. or honda pilot ..rather get the outback for outdoor activities ..how reliable has it been for daily and light off trail use ?

    • @rtakahashi
      @rtakahashi  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i can't believe i missed your comment! first i LOVE my subaru and would totally recommend it. It's my daily driver and it gets around 25mpg total but it use to get 26-27 before the lift. Mines the 2.5 and haven't felt any power issue but i would like the v6 for towing and putting more stuff in my subaru like a cool bumper. Hit me up if you have anymore questions i just put a after market trailer hitch and plan on doing a lot more stuff soon

      I really like how the tires work and they're a good weight. The KO2's are way heavier, we don't have a lot of choices and i wish toyo made the Mud tire in the same size because it looks cool (and that's what matters... jk) i do off road and they're great tires, i'm not disappointed

      @@rtakahashi a friend of mine has a 2014 outback with eyesight and he wants to lift it higher than stock.
      I think this will cause issue because the eyesight is calibrated to stock height and raising will throw everything out of whack.

    The tires didn't come out cause you bought the OEM size which is 225/65/r17. With a 2" lift kit, you can put on 245/65/r17 , but you have to get mags with a 45 offset

    • @Jacob.Shepherd
      @Jacob.Shepherd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How comfortably does the 245/65/17 fit with a 1.5” lift? I’m installing my lift this week and can not decide what tire to run, I want the most aggressive tire I can get in such a small size, in a 245/65 there is a lot of better tire options rather than a 235/65/17 that I know would fit comfortably.

    • @martinjolicoeur766
      @martinjolicoeur766 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Jacob.Shepherd I know some people put 15' tires with 245/75R15 but that's with a 2" lift kit. So maybe a 235/75R15 for you would look aggressive and fit perfectly, but don't forget the offset of your rim or mag. Can't go wrong with a 45 offset

      I have 225/70/15 method mr502's my 2014 outback. tires are massive and very aggressive compared to the stock setup. the only thing i had to do was make a minor trim to the front mudflaps. something to consider as an alternative.
