I have a 2016 Toyota Highlander and I test drove the 2025 HYUNDAI PALISADE LIMITED FWD yesterday and planning to buy it in a couple weeks. I wanted something comparable in size to my Highlander so I was also considering the Kia Telluride, but the features and comfort of the Palisade won me over. Thanks for an awesome review and pointing out features the salesman didn't even cover!
I'm currently driving a 2014 Tucson and have just ordered the 2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy (Burgundy with Beige interior). My husband is still driving his 2009 Santa Fe and other than wear part replacements/repairs for both vehicles we've never had any issues with our cars. This is the reason that we're sticking with Hyundai plus I really like the look of the Palisade. I also agree the seats are extremely comfortable and the massage feature will be used by me and living in New Brunswick, Canada I will definitely take advantage of the heated steering wheel. Thanks for the great review.
We negotiated a deal on one today and pick it up next week. We had started negotiating for a 2024 Traverse, but they jerked us around and after almost 3 hours revealed the car had been ordered by someone that is out of the country for 6 more weeks, so they are wanting to sell it to someone else and submit a reorder for him. He hadvordered snow tires ($3,400) and 2 yr fob loss insurance ($600) and they expected us to pay for those,as well as $2,500 in extras on the car. The sale price went from $57,500 to $80,000. We didn't want the tires or fob insurance, but they said it was attached to the vehicle, so we walked. I am more happy with the V6 and luxury of the Palisade Caligraphy for a better price!
I have this exact model but 2024. I shared commentary with the dealer that for a black “night” edition they should come from the factory with the chrome window accent blacked out. I had mine vinyl wrapped and it’s a huge difference to the appearance. Front windows tinted and it really completes the true night look. That said, my primary issue I’ve found with mine is that there is a really bad lag when accelerating while turning around any typical corner from a stoplight/stop sign. Makes me crazy so I am hoping that after they fix the engine (valve spring recall) that’ll go away. Great looking vehicle and initially seems luxurious but live in it a bit and you’ll realize the materials aren’t as good as your first impression. I have only 4,977 miles on mine after almost a year of ownership because it’s had to sit awaiting the engine rebuild. I wish the experience would’ve been better because now I’ll be trading/selling mine and moving on to a different vehicle. I’ll add one more positive - the blue link for lifetime without a subscription fee is an excellent service. Remote start from my phone with climate settings for seats and air is wonderful. I want to like this but it’s just not a fit for me…
I bought one on Saturday, 2024 calligraphy brand new. Got home straight from dealership, it broke down completely, dealer intentionally gave us the car with a bad battery hoping it would recharge on the way home. It was a nightmare dealing with the dealership, a lot of un successful attempts trying to get a response. they eventually agreed to refund the car, as this is in the 3 day return policy. They confirmed they cancelled purchasing agreement and destroyed the check, then today 2 days later, the bank contacted us saying they tried to cash the check, attaching a photo of the check. When we asked dealer why they cashed the check, to give them benefit of doubt, we got no response. A negative review on google is what prompted them to respond, they also asked us to remove review. At this point I have more of an issue with the dealership than the car. Also the GM never once apologized, a very nasty person he is.
@nemesis656, you did. When you made a general statement on a public platform. You nasty bitter person. Who can't afford a decent trim level. No wonder you can't afford a calligraphy. I would never hire you with an attitude like that.
Still the best auto review content on the Internet great vehicle how the 3 Row SUV market responds to what is the best Brand in that segment still be interesting to see as great daily driver too😊😊

Same issue when I bought a brand new 2017 Tucson ….broke down right away, only a bad google review made them give me another 2017 Tucson.
@ that's horrible, just found out that same car we purchased have transmission problems as well.
A great review, as usual. Thanks. I love it, but it is much more than I need.
Thank you so very much you answered some of my questions I had about the palisade as we are looking at possibly getting one at the end of the month 😁
Glad the video helped! 😁
Great job & I would loved to own this vehicle.
Once again a great review!
Thanks!
Good review but I wish some reviewers would test out the lower trims. All I can find for these are the high trims.
Easier to show the higher end and tell you what each one gets then showing you a crank Window and telling you everything you could get
@@firstnamelastname1090 Didn't ask you did I
