I am so happy for this historical/ theological history of our beginnings as the Remnant Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Thank you Brother. It has been a burden on my heart to see us as a people get back to original, pure teachings including the Sanctuary message as the foundation of our faith. Thank you Brother!
And the message of the first chapter of Patriarchs and Prophets. The gospel is not 3=1. The founders were not trinitarian. Salvation is in the omnipresence of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
The beginning of the remnant makes no sense. The remnant will be revealed at the 2nd coming from believers all over the world and not restricted to a seventh day adventist church denomination. The foundation of this church is great disappointment. This sweet girl who is EG White mentioned to soften readers the prophet of the SDA. Plagerized from other writers books and was only discovered many years after most church members believed that every word came directly from God to her.

Oh how important is the new to understand the Sanctuary Doctrine and the Investigative Judgment. Our message is unique indeed. I see the same thing about the youth of today. On TH-cam i witnessed a 6yr. old preach the 3 Angels Message! There are young voices preaching out of Africa 🌍 i notice on TH-cam. I pray for my sake There's a Shaking, will i be able to stand. I lived just outside Portland, Maine, 2002-2007. During my time there, the then pastor of the Methodist church claimed that the Adventist church was started by the Methodists. No comment was made about disfellowshipping the Harmon family.

A message at such a time, God is sobering the tenth of is people representing the faithful tenth percent tithe to Himself, type & symbol of His remnant.
Take notes of each time Israel or Judah are taken into captivity. And God intervened, He always preserves a tenth of His people which also refers to His remnant from destruction to be witnesses of His words and because He always has individuals who separated themselves from the corruption.

The uniqueness in my opinion is that former followers of William Miller (founders of sda org) refused to admit they were wrong and are ok that the movement started from several failed date setting. There is also an obsession with the imminence of Christ return....so you mean to tell me that since 1844, Christs' return is believed to be any minute and he still isnt here? Clearly when the pioneers believed the return would be imminent and expected it to happen in their day they were wrong! Imminent means imminent not hundreds of years. God is sovereign so we do not get to know what He is doing and when exactly....true believers are ok with thst fact. Proof that the sabbath is a test from scripture please (in context). I really would love to see that.
Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. Remember brother. God understands dishonesty regardless of why you use it. You don't support the denomination at all costs...that being falsehoods to support your point. Ellen didn't originate any doctrine...but she had visions that convinced others that God showed her that these views were right. Andrews was an avowed Arian folks...as were perhaps all of the early pioneers.
what fault do you find here ?Proved we never got a single Doctrine based on vision from EGWhite but all were a result of thorugh Bible study ..... visions would confirm later on the same ...that's very much in order ...find no contradiction at all !
Wrong...do your homework. Ellen never got visions of truth but she would get it via study with the other founder members then suddenly she said she had a vision on the same studies and it sort of reinforced the doctrines. I always wonder why God gave all prophets the revealed prophets messages upfront that he would chose Ellen as a prophet and let others come up with truth the suddenly she would get vision afterwards. The very elect will be deceived
To be fair in every religion there are fanatics and liberals and folks just doing their own thing. Adventists are not immune to that unfortunately...but as long as we "keep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jessu Christ" we will be ok..
And all are successfully keeping the commandments? So ppl have stopped sinning? Or by keeping the commandments, you really mean worshipping on the 7th day? "We will be ok" as long as we.... So our salvation depends on what we do? What's the human record of actually successfully obeying? Just things to consider....
@Kcheatsheet if we allowed the Holy Spirit to help us have the "mind of Christ" we would definitely be keeping His commandments for "nothing is impossible with God." Jesus lived a perfect life to show us that it IS possible for all of us...but the problem is, we just...don't. 😪But as the time draws even closer to him coming back we will totally give up our sins and follow Him to death!
