@Gladeoffire Actually, it has been discovered that Japan has warned the U.S. before attacking Pearl Harbor via telegram communications. They have communicated to the White House (30 minutes prior to attack) that they would declare war, but not the specific location. As the Japanese believed, "It's dishonorable to attack an enemy when unaware/sleeping without a chance, instead wake your enemy and hand him a sword to defend himself". However, malfunctioning telegram communications had voided it.

The outcome might actually have been that since the Soviet (without the aid from the U.S) kept pushing back german forces all the way to Berlin, the Soviet might had a much stronger relationship with Europe if America did not join the war. I dont think America would have had a lot of positive views from the rest of the world if they did not help at all. That would have been an interesting alternate history.
@Commander2402 that makes my point. I understand that now we support each other to form a more peaceful world and to maintain justice for the weak. I didn't mean to come off as arrogant as some AMERICAN and some BRITISH come off as. I was just stating that if the U.S. hadn't intervened in Europe (due to the attack on Pearl Harbor) things right now could be very different.
@Gladeoffire In a neutral stance, we were helping the UK before we even joined the war. We joined the war in WW1 because the Germans sunk some of our ships, yes. But those were supply ships heading to YOUR country to help YOUR country.

In adition, Americas Pacific Fleet was already massacred at Pearl Harbour and the remaining fleet were tied up with the Japanese giving America SOME credit, but mainly (if not entirely) for their contributions to air support in Europe and naval fighting in the Pacific. Technically, America was not fighting our war, they were fighting with us against Japan.
I swear the larger battleships had 2 triple barreled turrets on both front and back! Is this a mod for the Battleships? If it is! Please tell me where to get it! =D!
I was going through this vid thinking... i hope he uses torpedo bombers for making it seem real... and shuts off the fire at will for most ships.. but then nothing happened... thinking about getting some intell about that little battle and Actually making it like pearl harbor... but that feels like effort :P

They're different styles of RTS. Supreme Commander is easily the most difficult RTS out there to master, though. However, you need a lot of time if you want to play it a lot.
@thesleepsterz wrong. lost about thirty planes. most of the ships at pearl harbor were resurfaced, repaired, and sent off. by wars end every japanese ship that had participated in the attack was resting in pieces at the bottom of the ocean. the japanese won the battle but for sure lost the war. (no offense japanese ppl not trying to be racist or anything)

@MyleneJ I think you missed about 99% of the argument, and don't call people names, I don't know why you got involved, but I doubt the only reason you'll think of is 'but I'm american'. Now I'm a history student so I know my stuff, WW2 is what takes up the majority of my studies, so I know that USA joined the war because they wanted revenge, not because they wanted to help

Im saying that if the U.S. had not intervened and the Russians lost a battle on the way to Berlin then Germany could have a made a huge stand with her remaining forces you know what i mean?? a one fronted war in Germany is a lose. Also western Europe was already starting to fear soviet aggression for after the war. that is why NATO was formed and vice versa the Warsaw pact.

Its just the Supreme Commander Version of one of the most famous surprise attack in history :)
They're different styles of RTS. Supreme Commander is easily the most difficult RTS out there to master, though. However, you need a lot of time if you want to play it a lot.
