Multimeters with True RMS myths and reality

Probably many of you have seen the proud True RMS inscription on fresh multimeters. It means that this device is able to correctly measure the value of the effective value of alternating voltage and current on signals of various shapes, i.e. not only sinusoids, but almost all kinds of other forms. And is it really so? It became interesting and decided to conduct some experiment. I took a True RMS multimeter, then his “father”, a man in the prime of his life under the name DT9208A, who cannot measure this True RMS, and to them the old man Ts4354, no one knows whether or not he can measure True RMS, or rather does not remember t .to. memory fades with age.
