I have replaced all my random socks with three Darn Tough styles. A little pricey at first, but I've never been happier about my decision. Plus they're American made!!!

I need a quality sock and was looking for years for over the calf length comfortable socks that would keep my feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I found Darn Tough socks on Amazon about four years or so ago and got a couple of pairs to try out. I will not wear anything else from then on. I have not put any holes in any of mine but I am glad to see that warranty has substance!
Worth every penny and I have 23 pairs of them so far ranging from ankle, mid and boot. I would pay double or triple what I paid because they essentially pay for themselves. Not one pair has ever had a hole in them, then again I rotate 23 pairs 😁

I need to check this company out. I bought some merino wool work socks ten or more years or so ago from Amazon and love them. When I ordered more four or five years ago, it wasn't the same kind or brand. They weren't merino wool and I refuse to wear them. A six-pack cost as much as one pair of Darn Tough, but knowing I'm getting a comparable, if not superior, sock should the ones I had be discontinued, is peace of mind I can bank on. It's good to know there's an AMERICAN company that's taking care of my feet, and I'll check them out soon. Thank you for this.
My husband is in the military and has feet issues so I started switching him over to Darn Tough about a year ago. He loves them and has a lot less issues with his boots hurting him than before. His feet don't smell as bad as when he wore the cheap socks either so something about wool must be helping to limit the bacteria that contributes to odor. Since they are so expensive I just order a pair or two a month and that's how I am building up his sock supply. Try them and I promise you won't be disappointed because they are worth the cost.
I love my Darn Tough socks. This last Christmas my wife, my kids, and their spouses all received them as gifts. Darn Tough are everyone's favorite. They will be getting them again next Christmas. Don't tell.

I still love Darn Tough but I switched to Cloudline they are more comfortable to me and last longer. Plus they also have the same lifetime guarantee. Can't go wrong with either one. Havent tried any other brand in like 10 years since I bought my first pair of DTs
I have several pairs of different thicknesses and lengths. Five pairs specifically have been in my work sock rotations for over 6 years. I'm on my feet all day in steel toe boots and still have yet to wear out a pair. I have a couple pair in reserve but my original 5 pairs are still going strong.

First day I put my darn tough socks on they failed on me. I had to try them. The checkered pattern spandex and the top pulled and snapped. The inside woven strings Court on my feet. The excess material coursed hot spots in my boots, below and above the foot and on my leg. I hate sending things back and everything is closed right now so even if I wanted to go back to REI I can't. These suck suck could have bought 5 bags cheap socks. I feel like I got 1 Off 2 seconds pile. Thanks for the video at least I know I could turn them back in when the store opens again whenever that is.
I can only afford the "Seconds" and when I bought my first pair I thought who would pay even that much for seconds but DAMN, I love them and have since bought 3 more pairs even though they do not have a guarantee. I am set. I would recommend them to all who like good things.

No problems yet though I haven't had them super long (about a year). They definitely fit to size and are snug unlike the Hanes type socks which can be a little big on my womanly sized bitch feet.
Yeah $24 for 1 pair, makes no sense. I have a 6-pair-pack of merino wool socks from costco for $22.99 (today, I bought them back then for $18). Everyday use, hiking shoe/boot sock. Been using them for over 7 years now. They are as good as new. High quality, 57% Merino Wool | 40% Nylon | 3% Spandex. On any dimension, these are a far better value. Yes they aren't made in the US, and yes I dont think Costco is donating to charitable causes from the revenue of these socks, and yes they don't come in all the cool colors, weight, height combinations that darn tough does, but what they have works for me. In some sense darn tough seems like the Monster Cable of socks. My 2c.
Lifetime warranty is cool. However, if you’re wearing holes into your socks then they probably wore out years prior to that. Just buy socks when they wear out man. Fox river fatigue fighters are the hands down most comfortable work/everyday sock made.
Not the exact same pair, they discontinue colors. If you're like me, you hate matching socks. So that part is frustrating. I now have 2 sets of 12. So I can send an entire set of 12 back at a time. Get all the same color back, and roll the next set in. If you're younger, this will pay off in the long run. It will be more cost effective to buy these and warranty them, than to buy cotton.
Few corrections on this video. Darn tough doesnt cover dogs chewing through sock. And yes, you can tell the difference visually. Also, you cant just take them back to REI. They will not fulfill the warranty for you. I called them myself. So, they are technically not free. You will pay 3-4 dollars for shipping the socks back to the company. Still a good deal in my opinion so no need to embellish... There is another company called cloudline socks that have identical merino wool specs that has a hassle free warranty where you dont even mail them back so they actually are free! I have both and they are a carbon copy product with better warranty...
What I don't actually like about the warranty: If you are located in Europe, there is a company who actually undertakes the warranty claims for Darn Tough and they clearly say, that you are not allowed to ship the socks directly to them, instead you have to ship them to the original retailer but in my case the retailer is not informed about Darn Toughs warranty. This sucks in my opinion. But as always, if you are a customer in Europe your are fucked, so be happy if you are an U. S. citizen ;(.
Crap socks, only lasted 2 months, not retuned my socks 5 months and counting. do not buy, do don't give Darn Tough your money, Seal Skinz lasted me 25 months and still going strong.

This is what exactly what I needed to hear. I work in a shipyard wearing steel toes everyday. I go through a pair of socks within 3 months

I have three different pairs and I've never had that problem with them! They hug your feet pretty well, so they don't move around.
