yesss! katherine center got me out of my slump as well! i just finished reading her two most recent books (hello stranger and the rom-commers) and absolutely loved them. i devoured them both in two days! i’m so happy to finally be out of a slump 🙌🏻
Is it really a book slump though when you're being a mom, packing, flying over Canada, landing in the US, setting up a whole new place and unpacking during that time? Like girl, you didn't read much but look at all the important stuff you were doing and all the mental power those things take! Give yourself credit for all that hard work! I don't think most of us would be "in the mood" to pick up a book with all that on our plates! That's a "mindless show" type of needed rest. I'm like 7 books behind for reaching my goal. Not really a book slump BC I am reading, but struggling a ton with fatigue! I love the hair esp the color! It looks more natural than the blonde you originally switched to while still being light and fresh! I think the reddish tones really suit you! 😍
I LOVE The Bodyguard, it is still one of my favourite romance books and year later. I was really disappointed though when I read The Rom Commers, it just didn’t hit for me. I’m so happy you loved the bodyguard tho!
