It implies that Britney just had a silly blackout instead of a logical rebellion act. The post blackout era was so eerie. Britney was a puppet on a string again and everybody knew that. She had to act like nothing happened (in order to see her kids and don't get locked away in a facility).That was so fck embarassing for Britney.

Both of the producers for this song (a song that the label in no way wanted to be released) also experienced an unexpected death. Now, this may lean into conspiracy theory territory but the music industry is so messed up it wouldn't be surprising.
