I took that Laura Geller palette traveling for 2 weeks in the summer and it was perfect. My skin looked glowing and the bronzer and blush lasted full days. The mirror came in handy as well. I only needed a tiny bag of other products to create all my looks. Was hesitant to purchase at first but happy I did.
If that Laura Geller goes deeper I would snag it! It is a great work horse- you do not have to think and you know the look will be beautiful. You looked lovely as usual.❤
I discovered Laura Geller this year and fell in love! The colors in her face products are perfect for my coloring. Her Spackle face primer is also amazing. I ordered several items directly from Tarte after I tested their Shape Tape Ultra Creamy. The box came with each item carefully wrapped in a nice box. I also got a free gift! That was when I decided to buy from brand websites.
I'm on Laura Geller's email list, & she's always offering these fabulous deals (which I appreciate). I've been eyeing this particular palette for a while - so perfect for travel!🤩💄
Love Laura Geller beauty. She creates products that just make it so darn easy. And not crazy statement at all to say you like that the palette doesn't have too many choices. Sometimes big palettes can be so overwhelming. I used to have many big palettes, and I'd open them, stare, then close them and put them away. It was just too much for my eyes and my brain just didn't want to be in charge of making decisions. 😂
I am 100% ready to try the Tarte lip stain liner. My current favorite lip stain is the Kulfi. It’s outstanding. But I’d love to try these if they make it to the Tarte lineup! I never use face palettes at home. They are just not my thing. BUT for travel they are fabulous. When I’m traveling I want to have what I need and nothing more. I just want a pretty look and then get on with my day doing whatever I’m doing while I travel. It’s not about the makeup. I just want a pretty, no thought needed, don’t need to lung around 100 products look.
For travel there’s nothing like a face palette. At home I can see it’s time to experiment with everything that we’ve kind of carefully hoarded ha ha. You know what I mean.
Thanks Rebecca! I love your honest reviews. I just pulled out some Laura Geller eyeshadow sticks that I hadn’t used in a very long time. I completely agree with you. Her products are nice & no fuss. I don’t have any of her pallettes, but they look nice. I also like that you don’t have to think about what you are using. Everything is there & ready for you to apply. (Am I making sense? ) On another note, I am sad to see that VBB Smoky Eye Bricks are being discontinued. On the flip side, I’m excited to see the new products she will be launching. I like that the VBB Smoky Eye Bricks are simple (like the Laura Geller). They have 4 shades & are easy to use. I don’t have to put much thought into it - Prime/Highlight, Crease, Lid & Liner. I get why they are being discontinued. I love Tuxedo, but the other palettes only have 2 shades that really work in each of them. I’m assuming that she is reformulating the eye shadows & launching a superior product. Sorry for getting off topic! Love your reviews!

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty thanks Rebecca! Since VBB is discontinuing the Smoky Eye Bricks, I think that they may also be discontinuing the Bitten Lip Tints. I love these lip tints, but I seem to be in the minority. I love wearing them under lipstick or lip gloss. They really make the color last longer. For example, I wear Je’taime lip tint under Pop Posh lipstick 💄 or just the lip tint with clear gloss. Bisou & Chérie are my favorite shades. I have noticed that this product doesn’t get a lot of love on the website or social media. A lot of people say they are drying, but I have the complete opposite experience 🤷🏻♀️
Because it’s one of those brands that’s kind of always there. I have restaurants like that that I always drive by and mean to go to and then I never do and I realize years have passed
Tried to make a few LG products work for me. Looked dry and shades weren't a good match. I can't make good choices on my own...need to try on in store! 😢
I complimented a coworkers eyeshadow and she told me it was Laura Gellar, I haven’t tried LG in years so am considering giving their eyeshadows another chance.
Rebecca, I am older than you and have never heard the expression cut the face. Is the job of a lip liner to prevent bleeding out of lipstick, act like a barrier? I line my lips with a pencil and then lightly fill in the rest of my lip with the liner. I then apply lipstick or gloss over it, by the time I get to work the color has traveled out of my lip line on my bottom lip. Am I doing something wrong?
Sometimes a lip liner is also used just to keep the lipstick neat. It’s almost like outlining before we color in the rest of the picture. However if a lip liner is creamy, it will not hold in the lipstick. I would have to ask which liner you are using. You need to use a slightly harder waxy one if you want it to hold in your color. So that might be what’s happening there, a creamy almost lipstick like liner will not hold color in.
I often forget that Laura Geller even exists, TBH. The brand must be doing OK to have survived this long (which is surprising, given how trend-driven our society is).

A little nervous about the bronzer in that Laura Geller Palette. It looked orange leaning in the warm, California sunshine! Is it?
You know, it’s a lot less warm than most bronzers, actually. I feel like it’s more neutral/slightly warm leaning rather than straight up warm
