I thought the scene when Shirley was at the bulletin board was beautiful. Helen sprang up because she knew what was going on. That's sisterhood right there!
I was a 12 year old boy who played and absolutely loved baseball and the first time I saw A League of Their Own I was mesmerized! I was a catcher so Dottie was my gal! All of these women were so amazing in this movie and I immediately had to know more about the women’s league! Before google mind you! I went to the library and learned all that I could! As far as the ball drop…Dottie didn’t drop it on purpose not did Kit knock it loose. The ball had to be dropped so the baseball gods, as they always do, made sure the outcome that had to happed did in fact happen. Dottie was done, she was going home with her husband and was sure in that decision, Kit had greatness inside her and needed it to come out before she went on to play and become the best she could be and to get herself out of the shadow of her sister. The ball was dropped bc that’s what HAD to happen! That’s just how baseball works!
Let's not forget the reason there was Women's baseball in the first place- WW2. We were reminded of that when Betty got the telegram about her husband, AND when Bob came back and Dottie cried on seeing him.
Ironic that her character was supposed to be the plain one, and she aged the best imo. She's lovely. I loved when Megan started to quote Tom's "...Roger Hornsby was my manager..." 😂
This is a lot of fun seeing this great group together again and hearing some behind the scenes stories. Thanks for this interview of such wonderful women...inspiring to us all.
I went to see this film more than once when it hit the big screen. Still enjoy seeing it to this day. It really embodies the game, and the All American Way. Miss Penny and Gary Marshall. Terrific talented movie makers.
I'm surprised that we still do not have a professional women's baseball league. We have professional women's soccer, basketball, but no baseball? We already did, at one time- but even after this film, even with the recent TV show, this isn't a thing yet?
What a great get together to reminisce about an awesome film from an awesome cast! Gritty, heart wrenching, inspirational movie that has aged incredibly well.
My favorite baseball movie. Seeing the current exhibition at the Baseball Hall of Fame, honoring not only Women in Baseball, but this movie, is breathtaking. Seeing Alta Weiss' uniform was a thrill.
I was living in L.A. where I working in the film industry for years, I moved back to my hometown area of Evansville Indiana in 1993 where a lot of the film was shot. Of all the films I worked on in L.A. I missed working on my favorite one shot in the place where I still live now. I'm happy that the (Racine Bell) Bosse field stadium here still looks the same from the film.
We see Dottie, Kit, Marla, Betty Spaghetti, Shirley, Helen, Evelyn but Patti Pelton as Marbleleen, we never see her! Renee Coleman as Alice Gaspers, we love her and it's funny the picture when she shows her bruise in the leg!
What the heck. Let's have a ceremony for the cast at the National Baseball Hall Of Fame. I'm sure it wasn't easy for some of these actresses. My favorite was Alice, the backup catcher. She was the girl who got that raspberry on her thigh.
Precisely three days ago was the thirtieth anniversary of the original release of the Penny Marshall film 'A League of Their Own.' I even like to watch the film - 'Ellas Dan el Golpe' - dubbed in Castilian Spanish (Spain) through a Russian bootleg video streaming site.
Here's a fun Fact: The extraordinary women who played Betty Spaghetti aka Tracy Reiner, is the daughter of Penny Marshell and Rob Reiner of All In The Family.

Very nice starring Ann Cusack and Anne Ramsey
I believe I watched this movie more than anyone on this planet. I can quote the script word for word. One of the greatest movies ever.

Some might say this is a chick-flick but I'd say... No way!! This is one of my favorite movies of all time!!
It is one of my favorite movie too!! I never get tired of it! It’s a really good movie and inspiring me to go out play baseball!! ⚾️👍🏻
League of their own is far from a chick-flick.
Megan Cavanagh hasn't aged in all this time. "I'm singin' to Nelson"
Ironic that her character was supposed to be the plain one, and she aged the best imo. She's lovely. I loved when Megan started to quote Tom's "...Roger Hornsby was my manager..." 😂

One of my all time fav movies!!! This was so fun to watch!❤️⚾️

Madonna ❤ I loved her in the film too "A league of their own."

Fantastic video! So glad the 30th anniversary of the movie didn't go unnoticed!
This. Was. FANTASTIC. Thank you!
Loved this movie, everyone one of you. Watch it about 20 times. Thank you 💟
What a great get together to reminisce about an awesome film from an awesome cast! Gritty, heart wrenching, inspirational movie that has aged incredibly well.
This is amazing to see you all again. Great film as well. Needs a part 2 asap. Call it ALOTO: legacy
One of my favorite movies I am constantly watching this movie. Loved all of you!
Great movie, I watch it whenever it's on.
My favorite baseball movie. Seeing the current exhibition at the Baseball Hall of Fame, honoring not only Women in Baseball, but this movie, is breathtaking. Seeing Alta Weiss' uniform was a thrill.
This is so great, but SNY can you please tone down the background music a little so we can focus on the conversation better... thanks?

Thank you. Great movie, great cast. Great venue.. zoom. Kit was my favourite.
Penny Marshal did a great job. Love all her work.
As a note of interest, Tracy Reiner is Penny Marshall's daughter.
Just got done watching this movie and Geena was always my crush growing up as a kid 😊
It's not a reunion without All The Way Mae n Doris (Madonna n Rosie October Donnel).
More better with them along with Tom, Renee, Jon, David and Freddie
This is by far one of my favorite movies ❤
Awesomeness! 🔥💯🙏🏽

I was fascinated by Lori Petty during this entire video

I watched this movie last night I haven’t seen it for a long time but thoughtly enjoyed it
Beautiful Then Perfect Now 💖
Awesome
Wish It was longer good video though I so do like the movie it's neat to hear stories from the cast
Betty Spaghetti was always my favorite
RIP Penny Marshal
Classy ladies
30yrs since the movie was made 😮
I wanna know was Marla Hooch flipping the finger at us during the news reel footage ?
Omg Where never gonna who dunnit!,WHO DROPPED THE BALL
How much for the signed picture?
Wheres the blonde who was the other pitcher ,she played the beauty gueen.
Ellen Sue? She must have been busy with that “plastic surgeon” she married..
How cool would it be if they refilmed the ending with them now? Maybe they need to be a older still, but it would be cool!
Has anyone seen my new red hat?
Oh, piss on your hat!
Oh piss on your new red hat
Just some advice, the background music is too loud. I could hardly hear some of the soft spoken actresses. Please make it lower for future reunions.
What do you know about Robin Knight?
Bitty Schram looks so beautiful
Good movie
Music TOTALLY UNNECESSARY.
Don’t forget Pepper Paier
Wow youtube
What happened to Rosie and Madonna and the girl who played Ellen Sue?
Geena Davis, does she know how to age? She still looks youthful ❤ I loved her in a league of their own. A woman's sports movie. ❤
No Tom Hanks?
No Madonna and
No Rosie O’Donnell
I don't believe she blew the game. The look on her face, she was obviously trying to win the game.
Hi Lori
For a self-identified lesbian, Megan Cavanaugh is very pretty, feminine, and aged well!
Can’t hit ‘em, can’t layoff em
They should get all those girls together and redo the ending with how they look now.
Well Gina davis would have to redo the begging scenes as well.
Best chick flick
