I understand the VAQUERO bridleing years of work on one horse I rode beside someone who bridled a horse over 15 year awesome work I was very lucky to understand this. On top of European influences and structure. Very lucky to have found you I have a pony I would like to ride into the bridle. He will most likely be ridden into a nice supportive halfbreed. Thank you for sharing. Your life long studies

One can achieve these maneuvers and so much more without the spade bit or spurs.

In a arena but not on the range the Bit and spur are to engage not punish.

@@bobbyjorogers4937 Oh, yes.........on the range. There are skilled cowboys who can work cattle without any head gear. No spade bit bridle, no rope halter, no neck loop, no nothing. You need to get out more.

@@gerrycoleman7290 that's how these skilled traditional cowboy's train their horse's.. first ride is with rope halter, then snaffle bit or hackamore, The horse won't see a Spade Bit until year's, year's and more year's down the road..All these maneuvers you see here are taught in the the hackamore or snaffle bit area shoot even rope halter area.. point is to build a confident horse that can understand your seat and leg cues and slightest touch of the reins..And that "no nothing" you mention is a confident horse and that's the goal!

@@redskinn6096 One can reach the highest level of responsiveness from the horse without a bit of any kind.
